I've been to Vegas twice now, but last time (about a year ago) decided to head downtown and played for a while at the D. Ended up making friends with the dealer so I'm planning on going back to her table this weekend and I like their party pit much more than the PH and Caesars pits, and WAY better than Paris and Monte Carlo.

While I was playing a host came up to me and gave me his card, but I never contacted him and maybe lost the card.

I've since started receiving match play offers and food and beverage offers, but I do not plan on staying downtown. The offers say you have to bring the physical coupon with you for the match play. Can I utilize them without booking a room? Also, is there any way to utilize the food and beverage offers without booking a room? Also, how does the D do match play - is it lost after one hand or can you let it ride if you win?

On a related note, does anyone have a host at the D that they like? I'll probably be playing 3-4 hours on one day at about $100/hand.

match play coupons are supposed to be taken after a win or lose. they should stay put on a tie or push.

As far as using match play coupons without staying at the D, I do it all of the time. They are taken when the hand ends on a win or loss.

As far as food an beverage offeres, the same. I go to the D desk and get my vouchers every ttrip whether I stay or not.

You do not need to be staying at the hotel to use Match Plays at the D. The only time I used the food offers, I was registered guest so I'm not sure on that question.

Perfect, thanks! Don't need to deal with the host then!

My offer says that I must present my mailer the players club desk in order to get my match play. I have never received a mailer although I regularly receive e-mails with my offers for free play, food credit and match play. I talked to two other people who play regularly at the D and they have never received a mailer. If you don't have a mail offer in hand, how do you get the match play?

Go to the player's club, present your ID and card.
Sometime they find the deal, and give you the match play.
Sometime they couldn't, then no luck.

I get mine through the email, though once the lady was nice enough to pull my offers up in the system and print out what I needed, food, too, and I've never stayed.

By the way, I do enjoy the dealers there. Some of my favorites anywhere.
