Well, I am in the air. I think the plane just crossed into Kansas. Which is actually an odd route to Vegas from BNA. Makes me think the flight is doding some bad weather. But hey, I am on my way with an arrival scheduled fifteen minutes early.

And in other news, my buddy missed our flight. His wife usually keeps him on schedule, but I didn't imagine he would miss the flight entirely absent her, lol. He texted me about ten minutes before takeoff saying he had just woken up. So I am hoping he is able to get on another flight later today. I mean, I only did this trip because he talked me into it, lol. So fingers crossed he will join me tonight.

In the meantime, I am watching the Mariners game and waiting for Ichiro's final at bat as a pro. I was always a fan of his. Also watching the film Ex Machina on my tablet. Its very good so far. Will tryy and update and have some pictures when I land in a couple hours

 

Gotcha. I love the vibe at Catch but I know it isn't for everyone. I also really like Julian Serrano but, for whatever reason, it is always a lunch stop for us instead of dinner.

Another suggestion I have is Best Friend at Park MGM. We had an amazing meal there on our recent trip. With that said, they do have a DJ on Wednesday through Saturday nights.

 

Got a message from my friend. He is at the airport trying to work out replacement flight and hoping to be in by this aftrnoon. Hopefully I am not broke by the time he arrives

 

The latest: my buddy just got on flight that connects thrrough St Louis. So he should arrive in Vegas around 1:30 this afternoon. Could have been a lot worse!

 

Flying over Colorado and about to cross into Utah. Snow everywhere!! An hour til I am on the ground

I like Utah State too. I suspect the Cats line is moving on the PJ Washington news. If I wager on it, I will probably bet and over/under. I'm too emotional about the Cats to make a reasoned judgment on which side to bet.

As for my friend, I'm not sure just getting to veggas qualifies him as the comeback kid just yet. He has a tendancy to lose badly at gambling most trips. But he did win when we were there in January. Let's see where things stand on Sunday before we start handing out the nicknames. For now, he will be Captain Oversleeps

 

Not judging AT ALL but I don’t recall ever missing a flight because it was my fault. I’ve run VERY late before and almost missed but to miss a flight to Vegas?!?!? Sinful!!! Haha

FYI I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve bet on Buckeye football. Bad policy to bet on your teams in my opinion

 

He is always late. I expected that. But i never imagined he would miss the flight! Anywho, on the ground 25 minutes early and waiting for our gate to open up. Cool view of the valley coming in. Half the city is getting stormed on and the other half is sunny. More pics once I get off this plane
