    My Trip Report

This trip (let alone this report) was not supposed to happen. I already had four trips planned for the month of March and knew I would be coming to vegas in April anyway. Of course, in December, I had planned on skipping the annual vegas Super Bowl trip for the first time in years and still ended up going. So when a friend texted me six weeks ago asking if I was going to vegas for March Madness, I caved and decided to plan a trip. Besides, this year will mark the tenth year in a row I have been in vegas for either the first or second weekend of march madness.

Its a two person crew this year. Just me and a buddy who comes to vegas with me usually twice a year. He was part of the larger group of friends that met up out there in January, so I am kind of surprised he is already set to go to Vegas again. Typically, his wife comes with him, but he is solo this time. My host has comped us a couple rooms at Cosmo and that's the extent of our planning, lol. We leave on an early flight Thursday. We should arrive about an hour before the first game tips off. Staying til early Monday.

I have a secret plan where to watch the UK game on Thursday, but that's really it. Usually, I plan a lot of stuff for my vegas trips and then end up only doing half of it. Which is cool. I enjoy the planning. I asked my friend what he wants to do while we are there, but he didn't have any suggestions. So I expect a lot of basketball, drinking (by him), gambling (talon and high limit room for me; BJ on the main floor for him), and who knows what else.

I will try and keep this report updated frequently and add as many pics as I can remember to take. Tomorrow will be filled with a lot of angst about wanting to leave. Just watching this opening tourney game on TV right now has me itching to go. Hope some folks follow along ....

Thanks. I went down big and fought back to a small win when I was in vegas a couple weeks ago. So that experience has me a bit gun shy at the tables. Might mean I will pour more money into the basketball bets. But with four full days in town, i am sure I will start gambling too big at some point, lol

I hear you. I did a quick trip in early March for a slot tourney and the trip gambling wise was B R U T A L and I never bounced back. But, I'm viewing my April trip as a new day.

I don't follow basketball but the MM energy from you, my brother Champster1 and others is infectious! And it's great you will have good times with a good friend.

Always enjoy your TRs since they're blackjack heavy, looking forward to hearing and seeing some big wins UK.

It has been a couple of years but how is it going? If my Seton Hall Pirates can get past Wofford we would play your KU wildcats. Small world. We are either thinking watching the Sat games at the Flamingo party or the Cosmo party.
