At the moment planning on an early January vegas trip but if that doesn’t work, my back up dates are feb 28-March 2
We're going to try make it out 10-18. This is a redo of a trip from last April. We're doing a few days in LV at either Wynn, Bellagio, or Aria (have reservations at all currently and will sort out later). Then 3 days at Death Valley for new moon and a tour of progress at Scotty's Castle and hopefully we'll catch a wildflower bloom and pupfish. Then a final 2 days back in LV.
The plan is for 5th to the 12th March, used points for my flights with Virgin and booked Luxor at the moment. A lot things can happen between now and then, everything is free cancellation so not losing anything if it doesn't work out. Most of all I just wanted a date so I at least can at least look forward to a possible trip.
I have an invitation from the D for a slot tournament 3/21-23, with 3 free room nights, however SWA’s Cyber Monday sale failed to cooperate on their end. There would be a good rate on one leg of the trip then an outrageous one to go with it. Now I’m inclined to go either in late April or early May. I went in October with the 50% casino capacity constraints, but the 25% limit in effect now is a deal breaker for this traveler. Las Vegas just ought to go ahead and take the hit now rather than prolong it.
We currently have reservations for both NYE and March Madness (Mar 16 - 22), but we are cancelling our NYE reservations today. I sincerely hope percent positivity rates are below 5% and things are better by March 2021. Our last trip was Feb 2020 for the Super Bowl party (Yay - Chiefs won!), and we've already missed our usual trips in March, July/Aug, Oct/Nov and now NYE 2021 is out for us.
Currently planning for 2/26 thru 3/3. Flights booked no hotels yet. Hopefully things level off and there aren’t any more shutdowns.
With my January trip kaput, March is possibly back in play for me. I never cancelled my Plaza reservation, so March 6-11 at the Plaza and Cosmopolitan. Even if things haven't improved much with the virus, I plan to quarantine for the required period when I return, be it 10 or 14 days.
March 30 to April 3 if the USA allows entry from folk from the UK again by then. I’m kind of hopeful with the vaccine etc now being rolled out here but doubtful at the same time. Flying in via Nashville with BA in First (all booked on air miles) and then onto Vegas with Southwest.
Currently booked at Ballys for March 16-20. Comped Jubilee room, strip view Yearly trip for March Madness and hoping to enjoy some of the St. Patricks day fun for the first time.
room booked for Mar 17-22, fingers crossed I'll get at least the first shot for the vaccination prior
I have a reservation for NCAA weekend 1 but will only go if I am inoculated. So, not likely but one can hope.
