A few more questions on MB vs. Delano. I did do a search for this, but couldn't find it. I know if staying at the Delano you can use the pool at MB, but what about resort credit. Does my resort credit for F&B have to be spent at the Delano if I use their offer or could I use it at MB as well. I'm leaning towards the Delano - but this might be a deal breaker if that means I won't be able to use my resort credit at MB. I should probably know this, but quite frankly I've never tried to use my resort credit at another property - so completely unfamiliar with the rules on this. Spa - looks like they both have one. I do plan on getting a massage. Which one is the better spa. Paying for it with EC's so doesn't matter to me which one I go to. Anything else people want to share I'd love to hear .
Absolutely yes. Also restaurants at the shops are good for resort credits. Between the two hotels and the shops, you are looking at almost 10 restaurants to use it.
The spa at Delano felt small compared to the spa at MB. I didn't like the setup as it felt kind of like a maze and not many areas to relax.
I'm sure you can use your resort credit at MB. Delano has hardly anything of its own to use it on. Also, the hallway between Delano and MB can be a clog point. If you get sick of it, you can go out the Delano entrance and there's a side entrance to MB a little ways up that puts you into restaurant row.
I'm with everyone else. I have stayed at THEhotel as well and it worked the same way. It is still an MGM owned hotel, unlike the Four Seasons there. It is pretty much just a gussied up wing of MB with its own check in desk. I never understood the whole "boutique within a hotel" thing myself. Especially when it is the same owner.
I like the Delano spa as well...Delano has their own pool too, with in the MB pool complex which is nice.
You can use the resort credit from Delano at any M Life property. We just used ours last week at the Backstage Deli at Luxor and also Chin Chin at New York New York. The only M Life property that restricts use of resort credit to their property is Aria. RC must be used at Aria, other than that, never had any problems at any other property.
Thanks everyone. You guys are the best! Still haven't decided for sure yet between the two. I just know it will be one of them. Lots of time left before October.
You're right. Not sure why I said 10. I think I said that because that is how many of the restaurants i've been to.
