I went to Vegas three times in 2020 - once in January, and twice in February. I had three additional trips planned .... all had to be cancelled. I've had the vaccine, I have more vacation time than I can use, and I got the buy-in from the Sweetie to get outta town for a few days. Comp room at NoMad; cheap flight on Spirit. Plans include....dinners at Gallagher's (never been), Bavette's, and Best Friend. A late nosh at NoMad bar. Gelato. Eataly. VP at as many bars as possible. Craps when the limits match my bankroll ($5/$10). Slots -- GoT, that new Crazy Rich Asians, Dancing Drums etc. Bellagio Conservatory. @Spivderman's recent TR that included some goals to try new things inspired me to add a few never have I evers which include: *earn a drink ticket at Chandelier bar *play the dark side in craps (yes, bubble craps will count) *watch an entire hockey game in a sports bar or sports book *.... After reading about so many lines at the pools, I'll try to get a swim in at the NoMad pool but probably skip the Park one. I like a brief actual swim, I'm not a hang-out-at-the-pool type of person. No interest in dance clubs this time. Probably won't go downtown, unless Lyfts are easy to come by. This trip is mainly to relax, spend time alone, and get some gambol on.
