I have heard I can request a coffee maker for my room at MSS. Can any one tell me if this is true and if so what type of coffee maker it is? Keurig type or small 4-5 cup type? Thanks for any help.

Small single cup maker. You can ask at check in, housekeeping will bring it, if one is available. They (housekeeping) will also furnish coffee during your stay. Just be kind to the maid and you’ll be fine. I also brought coffee singles, and my own coffee cup.

Thank you, that's what I needed to know. I'll pack some favorite pods and a cup. Always treat housekeeping well.

Pods won't work...this is one of those single-cup brewers from the pre-Keurig days... the coffee comes per-packaged in a little plastic tray that slides in under the drip outlet... Keurig-style pods won't work.

Maxwell House and Folgers each sell a box of 19 single serving coffee packs similar to a tea bag. Isn’t instant coffee, it’s REAL coffee!! It helps to have the tray that comes with packets usually furnished with in room coffee, but can just place bag in cup and let it drip.

Hey, grew up in Nashvegas! Home of the Maxwell House Hotel and the origin of Maxwell House coffee. As President Roosevelt said, “good to the last drop!” :)

It's a single cup drip coffee maker.
