I visited the M Resort last month and would like to stay there for three nights on my next trip instead of the strip. Much quieter and more appealing to someone who doesn’t like huge crowds and nightclubs.

How are comps at the M Resort? I’m not a whale by any means, but I go to Vegas mainly to gamble. Usually play slots anywhere from $1-5 per spin, sometimes more. I’d rent a car and visit other places, but would do most of my gambling, dining, etc. at the M.

The rooms look great. Are they worth paying out of pocket? How is the M with backend comps? I signed up for their players club last time if that matters.

Thanks for any advice you could offer!

If it was your first time visiting M Resort last month and you used your MyChoice card while playing, you might get a teaser offer for two nights soon. If you go to https://www.mychoice.com/ and log in with your player's card info, you might see offers there. I get two nights per month (although the resort fee is not included), a free buffet per month, and a small amount of free play per month.

I stayed there once. The rooms are really nice. I can't ever justify paying out of pocked for a room in Vegas when comp offers are readily available, but I enjoyed my stay there for sure.

I can't speak to back end comps. They do have a shuttle that goes between M Resort and Tropicana, just in case you don't want to rent a car. But having a car keeps you on your schedule instead of theirs for sure.

    Have fun!

Thanks for the info! I expected a teaser offer as well, hopefully I'll get one soon.

I agree, it's hard to justify paying for a room when you have comps available, especially with no resort fee.

Honestly, I'm just tired of the strip and looking for a change. Might also try a night downtown just to cross it off my Vegas bucket list. I love downtown in the morning and early afternoon, but not at night, especially on weekends. Accidentally went on First Friday last month and it was complete madness and didn't feel safe. Lots of fights, people being arrested, etc.

Any other off strip casinos you'd recommend visiting? I was planning on Sam's Town, Silverton, Red Rock, GVR, and Orleans.

Green Valley Ranch is a beautiful property.
Red Rock is also quite nice. Both have fair gambling odds at most games.

Orleans isn’t quite as nice aesthetically as GVR or Red Rock, but still a place I like to stay. Good VP pay tables at their bars.

I actually quite like the rooms at Sam’s Town. They’ve been redone within the last couple years with giant flat screen TVs.

Someday I'd love to try a Sam's Town room overlooking the atrium! Orleans seems like a nice place too, good to know about their VP.
