Just got an email for the MLIFE Rewards Mastercard offering $175 Freeplay instead of the usual $100.

    Limited Time Only:
Earn Up To $175 in FREEPLAY®2
    • Receive $75, upon approval for the M life® Rewards Mastercard®
    • Earn $100 after spending $1,000 in the first 3 billing cycles after the account is opened
Hurry, offer ends March 13, 2020.

I'm pretty sure this is legit, but it states "Offer only valid when you apply using the link provided through this email" So I was just curious if anybody else received this offer.

I got it and clicked on the link and my computer still works.
    Seriously, it's legit.
The only question I have is do you have to spend $1,000 over the first three months, or $1,000 in each of the first three months.

if it is like 99% of other credit card bonuses, it should be $1k cumulative.

It’s cumulative. I’m happy with the mLife card.

I got it as well, it's tempting. No annual fee and $175 is a pretty decent signup bonus these days.

I have both the MLife MC and the CR Visa, but the MLife MC has better value if you like staying at MGM Resorts. Unlike the CR Visa, you also earn tier credits with your charges, as well as points and there is no annual minimum charge to remain Pearl each year.

$175 is not bad.... but so many cards give out 40-60,000 points which are worth at least $400-$600. Worth much more depending on flights, etc.

And the you have some cash back cards. I get 5% back on all of my gas purchases ANYWHERE with a Sams credit card. Many others do this as well.

Sometimes you can get a bonus match when the offers change. I have not tried it with a First Bankcard account, but I would give them a call and see if they will match it. Can't hurt to try.

Typically those with a 40-60k signup bonus have some kind of annual fee, even though it may be waived the first year. I don't see the MLIFE card being beneficial for actually using though since the earning rate is pretty bad. Seems like this card may be good for the sign-up, benefits at MGM hotels and keeping points from expiring.

How long is the FP good for? I can't find anything on the email that says they are good for 6 months or a year or some sort of time frame.

The fine print says it’s awarded in points. Points expire after 12 months of inactivity. Presumably you can keep them from expiring by just buying a pack of gum with the credit card every 10 or so months.

MLife CC offers free self parking on the strip, plus Pearl. That’s enough benefits for me. Only use the card when a MGM customer either LAS or The Beau in Biloxi. I’ve been a card holder too long to remember what FP I got at sign up.

Have had the card for 6 months, only got the hundy for the first 1K spent but whatever.

I use it as my primary payment card for daily expenses and it does a pretty good job of racking up points. The tier credits will help me get and keep Mlife Gold this year and going forward pretty easily (along with the usage on a couple trips) and I'm converting points earned into Ex Comps for at least one big splurge meal every trip. I don't fly enough to get deep into airline card benefits; being as Vegas is my sole vacation spot I might as well earn something for all the daily purchases I'd make anyway.
