Bah, a lot of poker rooms in vegas other than the main ones have spent a lot of time dealing 1 or 2 small games with skeleton crew staff for quite some time. The writing has been on the wall, waiting for the casinos to have something better to do with the space.

And the MC and Luxor rooms were both MLIFE and sandwiched in a block of MLIFE properties. No shocker that they'd look to drive play to a few bigger rooms.

Won't be shocked if CET somewhat follows suit, although since they low end comp some poker play, they may do much better at filling out their small rooms with low limit games.

Yeah, St. Louis had one room of 4 close over a year ago. My two nearest casinos offer $15 food credits for 4 hours of play. They are begging people to play here. Tunica is down to 2 rooms, one of them never has more than one cash game going.

Arguably CET already did this by closing linq's poker room as well as Cromwell not replacing bill's room. And they never bothered to put one in Paris so they never had to consolidate ballys and Paris.

There was a small poker room in Paris at one point... back by where the sports book was. (Do they even have a sports book anymore?)

Oui, iirc. But I never have made a bet there, or visit the area when the book was actually open. But I have went "wee wee" in "les toilettes" several times later at night. lol

No "backdoor flush" opportunity in "les toilettes"?

In the back by the sports book, by the entrance to the parking garage.
