Has anyone stayed in those rooms at the Luxor that are lobby level? If so, what kind of rooms are they?

I noticed these rooms whenever I was in Luxor and thought how convenient to be assigned one of those. You are right on the casino floor so no elevator to hassle with. The rooms are steps from the front door, so easy in and out.

    Thanks!

Sure why not just ask for a rollaway right on the casino floor, lol.

I can see maybe having a room that's past the 2nd elevator bank, but there were a few that were on the way to the elevator lobby. No thanks, I'll stay at a motel if I want that..

Oughta start introducing new casino floor sleeping pods, like those pods in Japan. Just have them soundproofed and right in the middle of the tables. Just open one side of the pod and start making your bets so you don't even have to leave bed!

I like some obstacles and effort between me and the crazies outside while I sleep. I don't like motels with doors to the outside either.

I once used a myvegas free night to use at Luxor just to sleep as we came in around midnight. We moved over to Delano the following morning.

I asked the front desk if they can upgrade us to something nice since we were just there to sleep and she said sure. She ended up putting us on the 1st floor of the East Tower. Around the elevators and we were in the room.

To be honest, it felt weird not being able to use the elevator that night.

Yes I stayed in one of these rooms once. Room was in the NE corner I believe. I don't know what the type of room it was but the room had a big hot tub inside it. Was my first time staying at the Luxor. I really liked the location - same level as casino and everything else. Noise didn't bother me either and I am a light sleeper/need silence to fall asleep.

During a trip last year, my in-laws stayed in one of these first floor rooms in the pyramid, just steps away from the deli. Their room was a wheelchair accessible room which makes sense being on the first floor.

You need to book an "accessible" room I think? IIRC

When I stayed at Luxor tower room once, I was wondering about these rooms too. And then figured the level of foot traffic/noise passing near them should be crazy enough to keep you awake all night. And also as someone else mentioned, there's a lot of crazy stuff going on in Vegas like shootings, floods, chips heist etc. It feels safer to be at or above a certain (double digits maybe?) floor level.

I haven't stayed in those but am very intrigued by staying in them just for the hell of it. Maybe next time I go I'll ask for one of those.
