Headed to Vegas in February for a few mid week days of R&R with the wife. We found either an updated Cleo Pyramid Room at Luxor (newly renovated supposedly?) or a Deluxe King at Treasure Island.

They are identical in price (TI is without the optional resort fee - Luxor includes it). Around $100/night all included (tax/resort fee/etc).

Where would you stay? We are low rollers usually $1-200 bankroll per day each. Thought the gaming might have better limits on the south part of the strip but who knows.

Even the new Cleo rooms? Over the standard TI room?
TI's standard room has refrigerator, in Luxor you have to go to the tower suite to have a refrigerator, none of the Pyramid room/suite has that.
Cleo room is just a refurbished Pyramid room, half of the 420 square feet is wasted space.

I'd go with the TI, and that would be for both a better room (and classier resort) as well as to show preference towards no resort fee.

FYI, I stayed at TI regular room in 2009 and Luxor tower room in 2015.

Found a new deal at NYNY........Spa Suite for same price as TI Petite Suite. They look similar. NYNY maybe has a funner vibe? Thoughts?

NYNY is more in the "action" and could be fun. If that is the same Spa suite we stayed in one, the room is larger than normal, but still somewhat typical. The tub is in the open area between the small bathroom and the bed area. I might lean towards that. All depends which part of strip you will be spending the most time. From TI, you do have some across the street, but most is heading south.

I was just in a Cleo room in Dec. One of of the best times in Vegas I ever had , but I also wasn't in the room much.
