Think buffets are an American thing and they want to offer more of an authentic dining experience.

That's what I'm thinking with Lucky Dragon. My recollection was that when I drove past the place in August, they had a LOT of work to do. It was just a shell then. How could they possibly open the beginning of December?

They were polishing the windows when I went by a few days ago. They look ready to go from the exterior.

That's great! Does any forum member want to drop by on Dec 3rd and give a full report on what kind of gaming is there? I myself am interested in the kind of table games, how many of each type, the rules (Craps and Blackjack for me particularly), etc. :)

You are welcome! I suspect that table game limits and selection on opening night may not be representative of what we'll get once the casino is up and running after a few months. Either way, I'll check it out and take some pictures.

I remember reading somewhere that it will be almost mostly asian games like baccarat--very little blackjack. Let us know :)

If they do go for the Macau-style gaming selection-- it would be awesome if they had fan tan in addition to Sic Bo. It's been ages since a Fan Tan game was spread in NV. I think the last game was up north in the state, possibly Reno proper.

I assume they will have the traditional 90% Bacc, 8% Sic Bo, 2% everything else mix, unless we are all misinterpreting their intentions!

there rates are real high. should be interesting

why stay down there for 200$ a nite on weekedays and 400$ a nite on weekends,

didnt we see this fuck up with sls

also no american resturants so really only one target market and they have to wrestle that away from the other casinos offering alot more

One would think these are introductory rates for the first few weeks when everyone wants to stay and play there while its the hot new thing

Any more info on a soft opening date? This weekend possibly? I'm arriving on Sunday and would love to be one of the first (relatively) to check the place out.
