I hadn't noticed this but saw it on My Vegas Friends Facebook site. Something to do with rules and regulations and the UK. The reason given didn't make a huge lot of sense to me. Seems odd though that this was removed right after The Hippodrome joined the rewards. Probably just a coincidence. Still well worth playing for the freebies.

It's not a coincidence, quite the opposite. If I understood the situation correctly, Hippodrome is the reason this had to be done. But then again I don't understand the logic behind this. If you can still get LPs collecting from the strip, gifts and gameplay, what difference does it make to remove LPs from the daily spin? Shouldn't they get rid of the UK players' LPs altogether if there's some sort of law that they're avoiding to break.

It gets worse. I wonder if we still have LP's on the wheel doing the daily spin from Spain.

According to Play Studios it is something to do with sweepstake rules but I agree with Kolmeseiska what is the difference with collecting as you play and from The Strip? I know, here in the UK, we are not allowed to participate in quite a lot of the promos and things in the US whilst in the UK. Quite often to enter raffles, quizes etc there is no option to put any other address than a U.S. one and I've been told it's not possible to enter the draw from the UK. I was very surprised when I found out we could play this and get freebies due to not being able to do many other things. Hopefully they will round it but I can imagine Hippodrome trying to do something to stop UK players getting so many LPs. It's the best deal ever.

Thanks Corrinne. Sorry I can't agree about the Hippodrome value for me personally. It would cost me far too much to go to London to redeem any of the rewards. Completely pointless for me.

Yep, completely pointless for you Pebbles but great value for anyone near London. Maybe they will have one in Scotland if this one works out for The Hippodrome. I have a feeling it won't be around for long though.

I just did my mobile wheel spin. It still has a 100LP segment.

I wonder if that will change when I get back to the UK on Wednesday.

I noticed a few days ago that it disappeared and then reappeared yesterday or the day before and then was gone again today. Weird. I am currently in Italy, but I'm not sure if it detects where you're playing from or where your Facebook account is registered?

I would love an affiliation with a Scottish casino, it would mean I had a reason to visit them, as opposed to just being a degenerate gambler!!!

It uses your location services to determine where you are. So spinning from abroad has LPs in your spin. Sort of like if you're in Vegas you can't see the rewards cause you appear to be a local.

Just done my daily spins. Yesterday my spin was on the PC, no LPs. Today I've done the mobile version and no LPs BUT I've just done the spin on the ipad using Photon (allows you to play Flash) and lo and behold the gold LPs are there. Didn't get them though, lol. I don't think I have location services switched on on the ipad so maybe they think I'm in the US. Anyway going to carry on doing the daily spins on the ipad with Photon from now on.

I have location services set to off anyway, hopefully it won't mess up my chances of getting LPs on my spins. I have a gazillion red chips to play anyway.

    This is rather bad news.
Probably 50%+ of the loyalty points come this way.
