I know what you mean about lots of personal stuff pre-trip not enabling the normal heavy duty anticipation and preparation. I experienced the same my last three trips, but good times I know will be had.

    Wishing you a fabulous trip!

Played minimal slots the first two nights, played a few hours of some sort of commission-free bacc in the regular high limit tables room at $50 min, lost $250.

Had a $1,600 handpay on the $5 denom Double Diamond machine in high limit slots room, was working on freeplay when it hit.

Up $2,000 on the slots overall, on $8,300-ish coin-in. Net net +$1,750 on everything so that's pretty good. But mentally I'm just not quite in sync on this trip yet.

    Fabulous.

Nothing like a hand pay early on to help get you there. Maybe walk the strip a bit. I find the lights, decorations and new places, restaurants, and newbies seeing Vegas for the first time always make me feel good and make me smile.

Or try something different, like Bingo at Palace Station or the Tim Burton exhibit, which closes soon.

I read so many of your TR’s @Chuck2009x I ‘knew’ something was different on this one....yeh, I’m cursed with good old ESP .

    A) happy to hear about that hand pay :woohoo: and you’re on the + side.
    B) now get your butt in gear and give us something to talk about. jk

Here's a quick clip of the handpay. Also a Cleo II bonus round that retriggered on the first extra spin and paid $864. Sound wasn't working on the Cleo machine.

Lost $340 on slots today, so still up around $1,400 overall. Gotta do personal stuff the rest of today.

Whenever I'm jammed up with business and work right before a trip, I inevitably forget to pack something.
Things like shoes ,socks , phone chargers, headphones and other things have been left behind in my mad dash to the airport.

    Good luck is holding up...

$1,600 in, $2,970 out this morning. Paid off all my markers, so $2,970 is profit with one day left at Cosmo.

Gotta love these big sub-handpay hits. If they ever take this machine out, I may not be able to stay here anymore...

This is getting me thinking I should try some old school reel machines in April at Wynncore.

The thing about this machine is that there's long-ish streaks of blanks that make you shake your head, but there's enough small 2, 5, 10 credit hits to keep you afloat, and if you're loaded up, sooner or later something good usually happens. I think I've only had one bad suckout session on this machine in probably 10 or 12 stays here.

I kinda have the opposite problem. I keep big pre-packed ziploc bags and I try to keep them organized by type of category, but when I get here, at least once a day there's
something I can't find even though I know I have it somewhere.

I need to update my pre-packs too, today I found a bottle of eyedrops that expired in 2013, and some other shit that I've never needed yet.

Hope your luck continues and you find your groove -- but it looks like you already have even if your not feeling it yet.
