I don't know if I even worded the subject right! Okay, we are not big money or high rollers. At MGM if you started in the morning say around 9am you could play blackjack for say $10. Do any other strip hotels have"cheap" table games? Mainly asking about palazzo, aria, etc.

    Thank you

I'm mostly a craps player, you won't find cheap tables of any kind at Aria or Palazzo. Bally's will have them during the day. Flamingo. Sometimes Harrah's, Monte Carlo, Excal. You want to look on weekdays. Nights and weekend's it's tough to find low stakes table games on the strip. Venture downtown or any of the off strip casinos and you'll find lots of them.

Easy for you to say. You have an inordinate amount of money.

Hopefully the weather will be nice.

Cromwell surprises me from time to time with $5 craps.

You can get $10 craps just about anywhere on the strip. I almost exclusively play craps and about 85% of that is at Aria. I would say most evenings you can find $10 craps if the have more than 5 tables open. Sometimes in the morning at Aria it is harder to find the $10 table, mainly because there are fewer open. Bellagio and Wynn usually have a $10 craps game going too. I can't think of what Cosmo's normal daytime minimum is. I do think several of the CET properties have $5 games during the day, not sure about the lower end MLife joints.

Most of the lower minimum BJ is going to be 6:5, I think TI is probably your best bet for 3:2 at a lower level. I'm not a great source for that since I don't play much, I don't like to think much when I am gaming.

Doesn't NYNY have $5 blackjack? I haven't played table games in Las Vegas but I seem to remember seeing that sign on my last trip in 2015. I intend to take up some BlackJack on my forthcoming trip and was hoping to start off with the cheapest I can find and see where that takes me.

NYNY, Monte Carlo, Cromwell, and Casino Royale always have a $5 BJ table running. They're all 6:5 and full 90% of the time. Best bet is to go early, 7-9am or during dinner time 5-7pm to get a seat. The linq often has a $5 game in either the 3535 pit (across from the box office) or the pit by TAG, but those pits are only open during prime times. TI has $10 3:2 all the time, and usually a $5 game. Ballys, Paris, Flamingo have $10 3:2 weekday mornings. All CET casinos, except PH and Caesars, will have several $10 6:5 tables all the time.

There's also the virtual dealer blackjack machines which are $5 6:5 most casinos (some are $3), but the dealer on those suspiciously pulls a lot of 3 or 4 card 21's.

If you are at Palazzo and want cheaper gambling, Treasure Island is the place to go. They have the best low limit games in that area and good comps.

A good Strip rule of thumb: the dumpier the casino, the lower the table limits.

I'd invest in a cab/Uber/Lyft off-strip or find the shuttle to the Golden Gate/Orleans where you will find $5 craps, bj and 3-2 naturals. Why anyone plays on the Strip where 6-5 or even money is the norm is beyond me, and if you play dice and want to take the odds, even a $10 minimum makes that an expensive proposition. I won't even get into daytime $3 craps tables with 10X odds at El Cortez and the overall better gaming conditions in the downtown area.

Harrah's had one $5 table I saw when I walked through about 7. It was $10 a couple hours later as were the other tables.

Thank you all! I realize I am really not a gambler because I don't understand some of the lingo But I'll give some simple games a try! We've got shows or dinner booked every night so we will have fun!

    Again thank you so much!
