I couldn't find the answer through a search; sorry if it is somewhere.

I put a bet on the under for wins for the Patriots last year at the Cosmo and they came through. Of course I lost the ticket (it made it home with me...lost it somewhere in the house). I have a picture of it with all the information on it.

Anyone know if the Cosmo has a process for filing a claim on a lost ticket when you have all the pertinent info? Or perhaps I'm SOL. It wasn't a huge bet but the payoff would certainly buy us a nice meal.

    Thanks!

I'm sure they do, I believe most books do. I've never attempted it myself, however.

most books do and a photo is a great record. some have time limits for cashing 3-6 months after the event. but they can be flexible with that when they want to be reasonable.
you should contact them and get the process started ASAP.

If you used your players card with your bet, then they could pull it up for you.

I would contact the Cosmo directly and ask. They’re pretty helpful

Good point - making a picture of the ticket. These days, everything gets a picture.

Cosmo has nothing to do with the CG sportsbook. So contacting Cosmo won't help. Just go directly to the book. They might be able to help, but I wouldn't count on it. I have lost tickets in the past, but it was always within 24 hours of buying the ticket, so the record was easy to track down. Also, keep in mind, CG does not have the best reputation of customer service. You're also more than 160 days since the ticket cashed. Can't recall what time limits CG prints on the back of their tickets, but if you are beyond that deadline, it gives them an easy excuse to ignore you. Good luck. Let everyone know what they say

Good call, @UKFanatic !! Didn't think of that. Figured by at least contacting the casino where the ticket was issued, they'd be able to point him to the Sports Book directly if it's a separate issue. :) Thanks for the insight!

I'm going to go with no as well. Let's say someone shows someone else their sports bet ticket, and the person snaps a pic of it. If they allow pics as proof of a made bet, then the risk is the person with the photo cashes in the ticket before the person with the actual ticket. I can't see them allowing this. Maybe if the bet is small they'd do it just as a courtesy. But sportsbooks are not too generous these days.

I've heard of people "cashing in" tickets that weren't theirs from a photo, which is why you should delete all content from the photo before you post it anywhere. Like this.

As for limits cantor gaming is NOT flexible at all in my experience. I forgot to mail a CFP title game ticket it. I went in November and they wouldn't cash it [I think they are 60 days after event I was way over] it was a $20 bet it pay $39 and wouldn't do it was a courtesy.

I even offered to just bet the full amount. Manager was nice and apoptotic on a my hands are tied and agreeing [but not saying] it was dumb...

In the end it was my fault but left a bad taste in my mouth.

I did call gaming they said they are within rights to not pay but also seemed shocked they didn't extend courtesy to me as well

They missed the top hexadecimal number... SO many on the forum miss this! I stopped editing for people long ago...

This is a more thorough example from last night. Woohoo!!! Now I need to get to Vegas to cash it!

All great info. I simply can't recall if I used my player's card. I'm hoping I did. If I did, I think they'd have another way to track it.

Do you have a pic of the ticket with the pertinent info? I would think that would also be enough for them to cash it. Things like date, time, location, bet, bet amount, and most importantly, the hexadecimal bet code.
