My buddies and I go out every year and we always try and find something off the strip to do for a few hours. In the past we've done the shooting machine guns thing, golf, the adult sandbox and just looking for some other ideas anyone would like to recommend. Thinking of the Neon Graveyard...

Neon Boneyard with linked ticket to the Mob Museum was a good way to spend a few hours, then spend evening downtown around Fremont and bars on Fremont East, Container Park, etc. Had a great day....

I recommend booking a helicopter ride to Grand Canyon or an ATV tour (e.g., through Valley of Fire).

Not to long ago I was out there for a wedding ( Early October). We rented pontoon boats to go out on Lake Mead. I believe it was 10 people max to one boat, not too expensive, easy to drive, and people were swimming etc. It was a lot of fun and something different.

That same trip my bf and I did a kayak trip through Blazzin Paddles, which I got off groupon. Again, it was really great. Ps- I had no prior kayaking.

I want to do the ATV ride.

We just did one in Hawaii and I thought it might be dorky, slow, follow the leader sort of thing but they let us ride to our abilities, so pretty quickly we sorted to our own speed and had a great time. I would assume the desert ride would be similar and will likely do it on our next visit.

The pontoon boat Happygirl21 did sounded like fun too, and not dusty :pirate:

ScootCity tours (scooters through Red Rock) and Adrenaline ATV are two we've done and were on Groupon at the time. Both fun. And second Pinball Hall of Fame. Had a blast there. Also enjoyed the Rhyolite ghost town.
