Hey guys,

I'm a small time gambler that enjoys plenty of action ( via the name ) ....

Always in the hunt for the best payouts when it comes to slots / video poker / video keno ....

As long as it's not Laughlin ...I'm good to go wherever ... Leave in Under 2 Months ...

Also ... Does anyone have any stats on slot payout comparisons ... downtown / off-strip / strip / north lv ...etc ..

Much appreciated !!!

Off strip is USUALLY better. Keep in mind a small outfit could decide to buck the trend and set them tight - within state rules.

And, even if one place has 98% payback and another has 80% payback - you can still drop your few hundred bucks just as easily.

Even a 100% machine will take most of the money from most of the people so they can pay off the big bucks to somebody - eventually.

Strip, I do do WAY better at places like Slots of fun, Circus Circus and Stratosphere as opposed to anything other than TI on the other end. I'm a low roller as in under $1.50 per spin and I've hit bonuses anywhere from $200, to $450 consistently at these properties.

Venetian, Palazzo and Aria... I have had enough bad luck not to even put $5 in any of those casinos

If you want to see the full stats, search for Gaming Revenue Reports, published by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

For the 12-month period ending February 28th, here are the win percentages for the slot category, which basically includes all machines and excludes tables:

statewide = 6.68%

Laughlin = 7.68%
Mesquite = 5.81%

strip = 7.93%
downtown = 7.18%

Boulder strip = 5.68%
North Las Vegas = 6.48%

balance of Clark County = 5.53%

I wish the groupings weren't so broad. The "balance" group includes 51 casinos with nearly 20 thousand slots, so it's hard to know which specific casinos are loosest. Based on the numbers, it's best to avoid anything on the strip or downtown.

I think your best statistical odds are get off-Strip and look for old outdated titles. 10 yrs old or older.
