So my usual place to stay downtown is in a mini-suite at Golden Gate. I have also stayed in the Rush Tower (single bed) .. OK, but prefer GG suite. For my next trip in June, I might need 2 beds, which would rule the GG suite out. Any suggestions? I have a long list of "wants" ... downtown, clean, comfortable beds, good shower, away from construction noise, non-smoking room.

    Thanks in advance.

    Bob

Contact a host at gg and see if he can get you into the D suite.

I didn't realize that these had a 2-bed option. I've stayed in one, but it was the usual with just a king bed.

Rush Tower has a few 2 bed rooms.

I'm not sure if this would be your jam, but Plaza has a 2 bedroom suite. It is basically two regular rooms w/ bathrooms connected by a giant room with 1/2 bath, small bar area and living area.

I'm not sure you get downtown. You don't have wants downtown. Downtown delivers, you accept. That's what downtown (OId Vegas) is all about. Tell me where I'm wrong.

Also, while it ain’t Rush Tower, Gold Tower rooms with two beds are pretty big.

Four Queens Regal and Royal suites come with a couch that folds out to a queen-sized bed — no idea how comfortable they are.

We would love to invite you to check out the Plaza! Send me a direct message and we can get you booked! Like Tee6395 said, we do have a two bedroom suite as well as conjoining rooms and rooms with two queen beds.

Just got back from a South Tower room that Gary booked for me. The room was roomy, clean, very comfortable bed, quiet (except for the wall AC but that was like white noise to me), good water pressure in the shower, and a nice view of the strip. I would stay there again. Thanks Gary.

Cannot go wrong with the Plaza, with all the updates they are doing with the casino and the hotel rooms. My opinion, they are a major front runner with all the good things happening downtown.

IIRC, I believe I have heard that the GG suites couch pulls out into a queen size bed. Did not test to see.
    (confirmed: https://www.goldengatecasino.com/hotel/suites/)
Guess it would also depend on who you were travelling with, but prob more space than a standard 2 queen room.
Also I believe (to my disappointment), the suites are all non-smoking rooms.

Can anyone tell me how much the resort fee is for the Plaza? I just went in online to book I cannot find it..I was just in Vegas on vacation last weekend, now I have to drop through Vegas for business next week, an overnight. This hotel shuttle seems like a W for me, I hate driving ubers from the airport and the Wax is sometimes yikes. Is there a pool?

    Thanks!

They have a roof top pool that looks like a fun place to hang. Food truck up there for something to eat.

According to the Resort Fee thread it's $25 plus tax

Was just at the Plaza for 4 days, friendly staff, quiet clean room I asked for. The pool is great. I know they have two queen bed rooms. If you need TV they have a great line=up of channels. I want to stay in the new luxe room next time.
