Here we go again, at long last. I'm heading to the Aria tomorrow morning. Leaving at 5.30am Ottawa time, should be in Vegas before lunch.
For those of you who have read my previous TRs, you know I'm a minimum bet player. I play lots of slots, lots of Keno and some VP. I take many pictures of slot and food porn (with tipsy selfies thrown in). I don't just post pictures of wins because at min. bet there wouldn't be many pics! So I usually sit down and take a pic just to give you a sense of where I am and what I'm up to. You'll also notice that I don't sleep. Time is too precious in Vegas to sleep!
This trip will be solo. Parked my kid with my now ex-hubby and declined to bring a friend, this time. I'm super happy to be back at the Aria, my home! Got a great deal because of American Thanksgiving I suspect: 5 nights for a total of 250$US. Three free nights plus two nights at 69$ plus resort fees but minus some FP and money for food. I'm delighted with this deal! My last two trips from the summer were at Venetian and Bellagio and I always ended up cabbing it back to Aria.
No plans, really. I will be hitting my usual places like Julian Serrano, Lemongrass, Sushi Samba. Will probably try Carbone this time as well.
Got some rewards from MyVegas – free supper buffet at Aria, plus 50$ and 25$ freeplay.
I'm bringing 600$US, will take out more on site.
Oh yeah, one other thing: I'm turning 40 on the 23rd, but I'm still in denial of that actually happening.
