    My Trip Report

Well well well....looks like it’s just about that time...
Flying out tommorow at 5pm, on Allegiant from SCK; with a brisk 55 minute total flight time.
This will be my first “work” trip...it’s to attend the annual InteropITX Conference....I have $5000 per year to spend on “Professional Development”...so of course I first checked to see what conferences I could do in Las Begas..:evillaugh:
I’ll be staying at The Mirage; and attending classes from 9-5 on Monday and Tuesday.
My per diem food allowance is $75 a day :D
My loose plans are as follows:
    Sunday Night:
    Dinner at mirage buffet
Meet up with a few fellow board members at Cosmo’s Chandalier Bar
    Gambool at Orleans
    Monday evening:
Dinner at LVB Burger in Mirage or maybe Virgil’s BBQ at Linq
Gambool at Orleans or MSS (meetup with @Turtleman )
    Tuesday evening:
Dinner at Red8 at Wynn or somewhere other for good Asian cuisine
    Gambool at Orleans
    Wednesday:
    Breakfast/lunch somewhere (suggestions?)
    Fly out at 3:30pm

    Follow along!

Well, it’s just $5000 a year to go anywhere to do it...I’ve only used half for this trip ;)
    And thanks for following

Obviously your 5000.00 budget is all inclusive or you wouldn't be flying Allegiant. Also, the 75.00 per diem for food seems a little light in most major cities these days. But, unlike most other places that you could go for "professional development", you could personally profit from your free time between classes on this trip. Don't end up getting "over-developed"!

Nah, I still would, because it’s the closest airport to my house, and it’s only ONE PLANE at this airport, so it’s SUPER easy in/out.
    It’s my Vegas hookup haha

Cool, that you can go to Vegas on your job's dime. Good luck with the conference and the gambling.

A coworker of mine who lives in Tracy uses Allegiant out of SCK to go to Vegas. She'd rather do that then hassle with traffic and parking in the Bay Area. Good luck. Following your Development.

Don’t forget to remove the green bracelet prior to your morning “business”. Rinse repeat.

Be one of “those guys” who go to the conference and takes something back to the day job, but once done the rest of the day/night is yours.....

    Haha.
Got to the airport at 3:30; literally through security in 2 minutes.
What I love about a small town airport with only ONE plane.
