Just not sure I see the Browns getting to 9 wins. Maybe next season but I think 8 is a good number for them this season.

You are right, the Rams schedule is brutal without taking in to account the 49ers are bound to be at least a little better, although I think Arizona is a 4 win team this season.

Carolina, I think, ends up as the surprise bad team this season - 5/6 wins would be my guess.

Denver is going to be hurt by the Drew Lock injury. I think Flacco was keeping the seat warm until week 6-7 but the hand injury Lock suffered, supposedly, is a longer term one that will stunt his development this season. I suspect he only takes the starting job around week 10-11 when they are 3-7 and no chance to make the playoffs.

I am not sure how they avoided LSU, Alabama, and Auburn in the sames season but I will take it.

The key games for the OV are West Virginia (a true non-conference power 5 game for them) and South Carolina who they haven't beaten in a while.

My assumption is that Lock doesnt play this year anyway. I love their defense and think Flacco is (sadly) an upgrade over last year year at the position. Also, look at their schedule. Its very favoorable! Their division is tough (obviously, since I am saying two or three playoff teams will come out of it). But they also play the worst division in foootball (AFC South), Buffalo, Cleveland at home, and should be able to split games against the NFC North. Thy should be sitting at 4-2 by the time KC comes to Denver, which is a short week game. I won't be surprised if they start 5-2 and have six or seven wins heading into their bye week.

That first sentence was my reasoning as well. I dont follow CFB closely, but I do watch a fair amount of SEC (since its shoved down my throat where I live). I know nothing about WVA, but I do know a bit about So. Carolina and believe Mizzou is better

Have you seen the Alabama and Clemson combined ov/un 1.5 losses bet? That seems like fun.

I like you Pats bet, can’t see them losing more than 5 games. Doubtful they lose more than two divisional games and would have to lose to Ravens, Browns, Chiefs and Steelers to hit 6 loses.

I’d take Texans and Cowboys under.

Flacco is an upgrade but I just don't think he has anything left in the tank. And it's not like he was an elite QB to begin with (despite what he says to the contrary).

Love your pictures - and I'm glad you put the pics of your room in there.
Always great to see some of the lovely rooms I have never been in. Really pretty.
Enjoyed all the "strolling" pics too. 24 hours and then I get to be there myself.
Hopefully I will take some good pics too. Good luck on all of your bets and thanks
    for sharing!

Is South Carolina's healthy, I don't think you're correct on that one. They have more returning talent than Missouri does, but they also face a much tougher schedule, so who knows where things will stand when that game is played.

I didn't see that combined CFB bet. I think Clemson goes undefeated. And if they don't, my CFB bets are really small so no big deal.

If the Pats lose two division games, I will be shocked! That division is so bad. They lost one last year and it took a crazy play for it to happen (at the Fins). I think the road games att Buffalo and NYJ will be closer than the casual fan expects. But they should win all six of those games.

As for thhe Cowboys and Texans, my analysis was really close to the lines being offered, so there was no value there for me.

I did find it interesting, however, that every Over/Under wager I made, I took the favs laying the larger amount ecept for one team: the under on Tampa is paying +160. I was a bit surprised that a few of my bets were the favs. Usually I end up with a couple more dogs in thhere

I don't disagree. But its still an improvement. Lasyt year, Denver was better than their record showed. Except for thaat inexplicable game against the Jets, every game thhey lost before their bye was against a playoff team. They beat seattle, the chargers, and pittsburgh, and played both the Rams and Chiefs close, with a real chance to win those games in the fourth quarter. Granted, the wheels came off down the stretch when the injuries had mounted. But they played like an 8 or 9 win team last year. I expect improvement this season

Do you know how many players South Carolina was missing for that game? They had an almost unprecedented run of injuries last season, and most of them were on defense. They also beat Missouri with their backup QB who had essentially never played before as a fifth-year senior.

They will exorcise that Belk Bowl demon on Saturday against North Carolina.

I think it was somewhere between 3.14 and 86 players. But that's no excuse lol.

Hey, I know you'e a homer taking it more seriously than I am. And I am sure you know more about South Carolina football than I ever will. I can't have a serious discussion with you because you will always know more. I was just making a joke about the bowl game because they got blown out. I didn't watch it and can't tell you anything about it other thn the final score. I hope their season brings you happiness.

Thanks- I will. I usually do my Strip wandering early in the morning. By afternoon I am
firmly planted in one or other of the Casinos close to Paris.

Packing my bags now and then headed to the airport. Despite not feeling my best, mission accomplished for the trip. Now I have four months of football entertainment to watch play out on a hundred little slips of paper, lol

On the plane, trying to decide what to watch on the flight home and I reallized that UCLA plays on ESPN. And Clemson plays tonight. So I guess I will get some immediate satisfaction one way or another from all these bets
