Love the pics and food porn. Hope your luck gets better.
Thankfully the line at Eggslut was short enough that I was able to grab a sandwich while waiting for the washer.
I had not envisioned this little chore going into the trip, but it seemed silly to send it out for $60 when this was next door and I was going to need to kill time waiting on my wife anyway. Didn’t want the guilt of losing a bunch of money when left to my own devices.
Line at the front desk was long enough to open and finish a beer before making it to an agent. They really struggle with applying my gold status to comp the resort fee on my stays, so I always get stuck having to check out in person to fix.
Probably a good thing we don’t have the bankroll to do all our gambling in high limit. We’d be dead with these pours. Down a little on Piggy Bankin, but had some coin-in before leaving down $100. Nice shitter too.
I'm always packed way in advance. Have a wonderful trip
If you’re going to Momofuku, make sure to sit at the counter. 3 for 3 on getting free food up here.
Bearded Iris Hazy IPA
Free tasting of Romano Beans
Pork belly buns
Special portion of salt and pepper shrimp, off menu
Following along, good luck!
Getting a fairer shake this afternoon. Just want to generate some decent coin-in, don’t need to leave a big winner. Definitely not going thirsty.
Still no big wins, just trying to hang in long enough to pop one.
You are realllllly making me wish my trip was closer than 45 days. Blah!!!
I love all the restaurants you've been eating at. China Poblano, Yum! Can't wait.
I hope your luck starts to improve!!
Question - If you are Gold, you don't pay resort fees? I'm only Sterling, but getting close.
Yep, no resort fees. Nice perk for nights where I have to pay casino rate without a comp.
Done with slots for the trip. Never hit anything of note, just enough luck to last a while on our 600-700 we had left. Played some $5 VP in HL, which was nerve wracking. 3 consecutive big losing trips at Cosmo, and I’ll do a full accounting once everything on identity catches up to check my math.
Dinner at Scarpetta to wrap things up here. Not quite as good as our last meal, but the spaghetti is still amazing.
Harrah’s casinos in council bluffs only allow a drink like every 20 minutes. Wife plays on my card as well, you can order drinks from your machine. Sometimes after entering the drink it will display “ drink is not available at this time”. If I walk up to the bar I can order them no problem.
Perhaps this is what Cosmo is doing is limiting drinks on your card.
No King rooms at Wynn tonight, but they gave us a Panoramic View at least. Could have had an Encore Jr Suite for $85 a night, which includes the $50 a night breakfast credit, but we fly out at 7am Wednesday so the math didn’t work for us.
Where did you get the dirty dog ipa? Cosmo casino bar? *crosses fingers*
Unfortunately not. Came from whatever liquor store our guests ended up being taken to on the way from the airport by their uber driver.
Vegas caught up with us a bit last night. Sinus issues, dehydration, lack of sleep, over eating, and a bit too much to drink finally took its toll and left us feeling pretty rough.
Taking it easy this morning at the Wynn Pool. Really pretty out here, and it’s definitely a pool meant for quiet relaxation or based on how many lap swimmers there were when we got here, working out. Wandered over to the euro pool without realizing it and got some surprise boobs, which isn’t too bad.
@HHFan What the situation with washing at the polo club? Do they have coin washers, are you a member or something? Just curious since we've had a few long trips that required some laundry. We've always used a coin laundry somewhere but that's always a bit of a downer mid trip.
They have coin operated machines on each floor, meant for their guests, but there is nothing stopping someone from getting to them. $1.25 wash and $1.00 for dry.
I usually have a laundromat do it, but we didn’t go through as much clothing this time so it wasn’t going to be worth it.
Great report with nice pics. Thanks for taking the time.
