Has anyone ever had or seen a royal flush in Let It Ride? I keep dreaming of that hit.

Not LIR but Pai Gow poker at Flamingo back in 2014. We were 2 tables over playing Pai Gow when a lady hit the 7 card straight flush, the table exploded with cheers because every player had an envy bet placed. Took about an hour before everyone was payed.

Yes! Oct 1 2016 at Planet Hollywood, a buddy of mine was playing in the first base seat alone, they just switched dealers and changed the cards (8 pm), it was first hand out. He was dealt the QJ10 of spades, dealer flipped the ace first then the king. $65,800. (He was playing $15's per spot, $20 on the three card bonus, and the old school dollar bonus). Think they took $17,500 in chips after the pay out to cover the taxes. He ended up with a few grand plus a check for $45k.

Never seen one but the story I've heard is (this might still be back when he was at Boyd) one of the Michael Gaughan properties got hit with two royals in one month. That's when he pulled the games from any of his casinos and why there isn't one at South Point.

Have never seen one, but I had 4 to the royal twice, once at the Rio, and once at my local casino.

BTW, I have heard the story of an older man who did hit a royal on LIR several years ago at my local casino, and he was so excited he jumped out of his chair and ran over the a nearby slot machine where his wife was playing to share the good news with her. When they returned to the table, he was informed that the hand was dead because he left the table, and he did NOT get paid! The couple became irate, and eventually had to be removed by security. Not sure the truth in this story, but I have heard it from several different dealers, pit bosses, and other players over the years that I guess I have to assume it was true. If so, what a shame!!!!!!!

I saw one in Vegas, and the guy did not play the dollar.

My mom saw one at Foxwoods last week; older 70s woman playing quarters. Got $300 some did thousand bonus and then $75000 on the quarters for her bets.

Two players at the table at the time with her - both lost $5000 envy bonus for not playing the dollar.

Never. The highest hand I've seen is four of a kind. One of the times I was in Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas. I sat down at a LIR table at first base. The very first hand the last guy hits four of a kind. I told him he owed me a drink. I was joking. He didn't buy though those cards would have not been his if I hadn't sat down. I would have bought.

That was the dealers first and last hand of the night. She dealt that hand, spent over an hour verifying and paying it out, then got sent home.

I walked by a table that paid out a straight flush once. They shut the table down to verify it.

I saw a straight flush dealt to a guy sitting next to me at one of the locals. Five dollar table playing the minimum with one bet. He was holding his cards where I could see, the last card could be filled on either end. Could not believe he pulled the last bet back.

"Cocktails for the gentleman on first base. Here's a blue chip for you trouble, honey." WTF is so hard for him to do that?

    (I posted this elsewhere)
I never played LIR before. My last trip , I was in Ballys AC and walked to a craps table about11pm. There was no room. So I saw an employee Empty LIR table. I walked over and sat down.

The dealer was an older women who showed me the ropes. I bought in for $100. I put $15 on the three circles plus $5 on both of the bonus bets. I went through about 6 hands winning nothing. Put my last $25 out. I was dealt A2A. The dealer turned over A and then an A. The 4OAK was a progressive major. My total payout was just under $2000. I gave the dealer a black chip and walked.

i will be in Vegas for a week starting July 10. I will primarily be playing craps. But I will be looking for a LIR table fir a couple of sessions.

Wife and I were in Niagara Falls a few years ago. Sat down at a LIR table and the second hand, the guy at seat four hit the Royal. we sat there for about 45 minutes while they checked and rechecked the hand. They were from Buffalo and kept asking what they needed to do for taxes. We kept telling them what they are supposed to do, though what they were actually supposed to do was take the seats my wife and I ended up in so that we get the Royal instead. This was back when they still played the music for big bonus hands, so we actually got to hear the whole thing.
