    Hello,

Comped 5 nights in a Flamingo Studio. Same offer at the Linq and Harrahs and thinking about those two options. Any opinions? I assume since the Flamingo room says "Classic" it's not up to date.

    Thanks

I've seen those flamingos studio rooms on the website before, they look spacious, but they also look like they haven't been updated since Bugsy owned the joint.

Harrahs recently remodeled some of their rooms, listed on the website as "carnaval south," these look pretty decent, worth consideration if you can get that comped.

Of your three options though, I'd go with the Linq.

As confirmed by someone else on the board most of the Studios are down right worn and dumpy.

There are a few with the Queen beds, which are in better shape.

The first video shows a tube TV (which is what the pics on their website show). The second one at least has a flat screen. I haven't stayed at the Flamingo in over 20 years but I'm staying there with a group in June for various reasons. I also thought about the studio because I like the extra space but the more I looked into it the worse it appeared to be so we got GO rooms instead.

I'd go with Harrahs. Deff pass on the flamingo because its not updated. but then again how much time do you spend in the room?

My next Vegas visit happens to fall during a big summer convention week, so my options were limited to Flamingo, Harrah's, and the Linq too. My host said I made the right choice by selecting the Linq, because the other two properties really just don't measure up to the Linq's newly renovated everything at that price point.

I booked a Flamingo Studio with 2 double beds for early April. I will try to remember to take pictures and post here as there have been tons of questions about these rooms.

I had the option of Linq or Flamingo as my son will be at a convention and those are the 2 convention hotels. I figured I'd grab a comp room to save him some money as he is a young entrepreneur with a small company, but I wanted him to be able to network easily. I chose the studio because we may share the room for a night and I figured the extra space would be nice and the sitting area would give us the opportunity to visit since he lives in Texas and I am in NH. OK,I admit it. This was really all just an excuse to see my fovarote guy in my favorite place on earth!

I'm gonna be a first timer at the Linq next month (3/16-21). Gonna keep a close eye on this post to see what else folks have to say about the Linq. I've done Flamingo and Harrahs before.

Daughter and boyfriend were there a few months ago. They said they wouldn't go back to stay.

Seriously???? I've stayed at Flamingo once, I've never stayed at Harrahs but I've been in a room, and I've stayed at Linq four times, as recently as last month. Linq blows the other two out of the water. I choose Linq over Caesars and Cromwell every trip, I just like the modern rooms and the overall vibe of the hotel. With that said, I've only stayed in a luxury room or suite at the Linq. I've been in a standard room and they are quite small, maybe that was the issue? No idea why anyone wouldn't like the Linq. I've brought probably 10 people over those 4 trips, who have stayed in all types of rooms, and everyone loved it and would easily go back to stay. Some have!

I stayed at linq since remodel and imperial palace before it has always been fine. The elevators now are quicker and were never crowded at my stay since the change.

They had a standard room. Were not happy. Said the casino was the coldest they have been in.

Maybe because I'm from Toronto I didn't notice, though it's not even cold here. 13 Celsius yesterday. Thanks global warming. It's snowed three times all winter and none of them were major

I think the Linq is a great choice on a budget or depending on what you are staying for. I usually stay PH/Cosmo/Caesars but for my stag do I stayed at the Linq and it was great. Clean, good location, party vibe however my only gripes are the long check in times and the long weight times for a limited number of lifts. Outside of that the hotel really does a good job of the basics.

only choices I have are harrahs and Flamingo for comps. Was going to do the studio king at Flamingo, but since all negative feedback will probably go with the Carnaval south king at Harrahs, since it has been refurbished and comes with a fridge. Lot smaller but we are used to staying downtown in smaller rooms. http://www.vegasbright.com/2016/01/04/harrahs-new-carnaval-south-tower-rooms/

Thanks everyone. Went with the Linq. I'll let you know how it turns out. Now I need to find out if they have a coffee maker in the room.
