Last time we stayed at Linq was 3.5 years ago. Rooms were basic, small-ish, but clean. Just checking to see if anyone has stayed lately? We booked a premium room for April so it should be bigger but wondering if the hotel has "held up". We are coming for the NFL draft so we thought we'd be in the center of the hoopla, we hope.

My review is pre-covid (late 2019). I was going by myself and thought it would be a fun hotel in a perfect location. Honestly it was a little depressing; shower only with "dispensary soap" that made it feel like a Gym, virtually no desk and the carpet seemed old.

Soon as I'd wake up I'd leave and walk over to a different hotel just for the atmosphere.

Again, if you're there for the location it's excellent though.

Almost sounds like it’s back to when it was the Imperial Palace. It’s the last place I stayed that had B/W tv(late 80’s), shag carpeting, and I was solicited at my door by an independent saleswoman.

I stayed there last summer. The room was clean enough but run down. I like the location but I probably wouldn’t stay there again. There’s better properties for about the same cost

According to another thread on here and their website, they removed fridges from the rooms as well.

The casino floor is fine. The rooms are just small and dorm like. It's a bed and a shower and 1/3rd of a desk After the rooms were updated at Harrahs, I have no idea why you'd pay as much to stay here as you would for a base Harrahs room.

The elevators have always been awful, too.

I stayed there in July 2021. It was my first time at this hotel so I have no comparison. I was expecting the worst given the reviews people wrote, but it was a small clean hotel room. Just the basics and awful lighting and the shampoo, conditioner and soap is a dispenser on the bathroom shower if I recall. I didn’t use any of it as i bring my own stuff. I was surprised I had good internet connection so I could work. Like I said, I wasn’t expecting much and was surprised I enjoyed it for what it is. Super basic. The garage was really scary for me the first few times I used it, but once I figured it out where to park to get to the casino door and knew that it was always dark and dirty there, I wasn’t as creeped out. Funny enough, I didn’t really smell weed like I would have expected (unlike Flamingo and Planet Hollywood).

The casino layout and games has changed since I stayed there and seems brighter and more open and inviting now.

Stayed there in October. We had a suite it was in good shape had a fridge in the room. We usually stay there and j would say it us around the same shape as pre Covid taking into consideration the employment situation they are doing a decent job of staying on top of things.

you will need to ask for maid service they may ask but if they do not request service if you want it.

Can confirm, I stayed in December and this was the case.

    Everything else was absolutely fine.

Stayed there in a basic room last weekend mostly bc it was dirt cheap! Gave me no room for complaints as I geared up for a let down but surprising check in was a breeze Friday 1/7/22 and the room was clean, on the small side but wasn’t there to spend aloe of time in the room. We had a fridge in our room, used the district 2 elevators with no issue at all. For $9 a night and no resort fees it was a win win!:woohoo:

I would like a fridge! Always nice to have for pre-gaming :) Weird there are mixed reviews on that as of recent. Hmmm....

Yes, basically we just need a room to sleep in, but some of the reviews of it being dirty and becoming run down worried me a bit. Was wondering first hand because I'm seeing those reviews for a lot of hotels right now most likely due to staffing.

I wish there was more information on the draft. We were booked for 2020 and everything was supposed to be at the new Ceasers Forum or whatever it is called. So that would have been the perfect location. But it sounds like more might be at the new stadium now? Again, very little info out still.

I am comped at all resorts last I looked. We booked Linq long ago and now I am questioning myself. But with it probably being an extremely busy weekend I would like a good location for the draft events.

This is starting to become a theme across CET properties IMO, not only LINQ.

I actually like the dispensers as I always run out of the lotion and conditioner in the little bottles.

I stayed there in Sept and had a suite bc it was only $30 a night discounted. The lights didn't work initially when we walked in and on the phone was told how to fix it by resetting the surge breaker thing in the bathroom plug. The lights in the suite side didnt worn still.

We went down to switch rooms and desk told us they had another suite we could change into but it was smaller. GF asked if it also had a second bathroom as we'd rather stay in current one and wait for maintenance. Desk said it DID have a second bathroom. We went to second room and no bathroom so we went back to original room. This was a pain going back and forth as you might imagine and it was 130am.

It just shows how they didnt check the rooms before issuing them to people but I suppose that's a problem with all hotels having staffing issues nowadays. For example, I got a Paris room where sink barely drained.

For similar price , I'd stay in Harrah's or Bally's though. Bally's rooms are bigger and elevators are less annoying than at Linq.

As for the garage I tried parking there in 2016 and vowed never to do it again several stays I parked in Harrah's and walked to Linq versus parking in Linq garage. The Linq garage is so annoying bc the spots are so tight together and/or next to pillars and the driving lane is narrow. Also the exit backs up often. Harrah's garage is much roomier and has multiple exit Lanes.

This same trip in Sept I decided to give Linq a try because I wondered if my memory exaggerated how bad it was and after having experienced it again, I would never park there and would park at Harrah's instead.

Do you happen to remember the name of the suite you had at Linq with two bathrooms? I am always looking for options like that when I travel with a girlfriend. Thanks!

Neither one. I just wasn’t going to take a chance from hearing these dreaded words from my PCP, “I don’t see many cases of X in my practice.” and “Where and from whom did you catch X?” Since I still had the chain on the door when I went to see who it was, I didn’t see whether there was anything “cosmetic “ about her.

I searched my email and it was the "King Suite".
    Edit:
Looking at the rooms on a sample suite booking, that's definitely the correct one that had the two bathrooms. The "King Junior Suite" was the one we first got as an alternate that didn't have second bathroom.

Also, the website let's you do look around the room. Has their 360 view thing instead of just regular pics.
