Anyone had any issues linking two consecutive room night rewards at NYNY? Of course they had to book separately, giving me two confirmation numbers. One was a bonus night and one was a regular night. I'm just wondering if they will automatically make it a two night stay when we check in or if anyone has had any issues with it at the desk?

Also, has anyone tried the $20 trick for a spa room at NYNY using MyVegas comp nights - did it work?

I have never done this with MyVegas - however I have done this when traveling with someone who also had comps and we linked the reservations together so that it would all be in the system as one stay and there was no need to "check out" the next morning and get a new key. They should definitely be able to combine those two reservations to keep you in the same room for the length of your stay.

I also can't speak exactly about MyVegas rewards, but I've done this many times on separate reservations.

The only hiccup I ever had was one trip they asked me to come back to the desk on the last night of the first stay just to make sure everything was in order.

As long as the reservations are for the same room type, there should never be an issue.

Did this at NYNY in Mov. No issue combining although they said key might not work the next day...they were right and we had to get our key coded again

I had 3 nights at Monte Carlo and I thought that they were linked when I check in, but that was not the case. I had to get a new key made for each day. Not too much of hassle, but enough to make you shake your head.

I'll make sure to ask them that they maually code the key for 2 days...I would hate to get all the way up to the room and then have to go back to the desk. Our luck is that we ALWAYS get a room that is furthest (farthest?) away from the elevator!
