So its almost time. The goal is to try semi-live....buuuut.....well Vegas. So we'll see. Mrs. Irish finished this just in time....it was touch & go! This will be my 7th Superbowl and Mrs Irish 3rd. She wasn't into football until a couple years ago when all my efforts finally paid off. What was I thinking??? I created a monster!! If you see a lunatic at the Aria party screaming at Belichick from the opening kick-off you found her! So the plans is to arrive 4 hours before kick-off, grab bags, hit the taxi line, don't get tunneled, check into MGM and run to Aria without having a heart attack!. What was I thinking? Wasn't planning on going this year but after my boy Brady worked his magic it was GAME ON! So we fly SW out of Providence-Midway-Vegas with plane change in Chicago. Weather, plane problem, pilots calling in sick, any problem at all and we're screwed. If we end up watching the game in an airport lounge instead of Aria the aforementioned monster will be filing for divorce! I'm sweating it just thinking about all the things that can go wrong. Anyhoo, it's 5 nights, 1st three at MGM, haven't laid my head on one of their pillows in 5 or 6 years, then the last two at Cosmo. Plans are: 1. Fourteen hour road trip Tuesday 2. this artsy-fartsy thing https://www.bellagio.com/en/entertainment/gallery-of-fine-art.html 3. try a few new restaurants because it will be too cold to eat outside at our usual haunts 4. Kill 'em at the BJ tables until Murren cries "Uncle" and turn the lights off! 5. Cash these two bad boys in! Only bummer sounds like the weather. Last year it was high 70's, this year low - mid 50's. Almost a 25° drop so no patio at MAG! I know, first world problems! Best of luck to everyone out there and as my boy would say.....LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!!!
