Hi there. Heading to Vegas in a few days and want to try the let it ride. What is the table minimums near the Linq? Is there one bonus bet or two? Saw downtown there was a dollar bonus bet. Do you have to do the three card bonus bet to do the dollar one? Does this make sense or has the workday really got me tonight??!?!
Most of the Caesars owned properties will have some $5 min tables during the day, max I've seen is $10 min. There's no more dollar bonus bet, now it's a $5 bet with a larger progressive payable. I believe you can play $5 on the three card bonus. Unsure if you have to play the 3 card bonus to play the larger bonus, assuming no.
right, you don't have to play the 3 card bonus bet or the $5 bonus. You can play the 3 card bonus bet without playing the $5 bonus or vice versa. Or none at all
From the dealers perspective, at least at PH, they say it’s one of the worst to play...they call it “let it die” lol. Most dealers think crazy 4 and 3 card are better games. On a side note, if you are looking for different games...there is a game that is only at Harrahs called DJ Wild that the dealers say is a great game for players and has a big upside for the bad beat bet.
Let it die is what we called it at the casino I worked at. From a dealer perspective it’s a boring game to deal with usually players who are slow at most things in life. Our table even when open was usually dead,’we got rid of it in 2017 and then people started begging for it but management never got it back. DJ wild is a game we had as well. I have seen people do okay on it but it is more of a money grab than most carnival games from my experience.
I can't complain. In the early days, before bonus bets, me and my partner hit the royal at Ballys... collected 15k in chips.... no W2g.... had a dealer at Harrahs that would pick up our cards and tell us what to do and make jokes...fun table don't play it much any more but may give it a try this week at harrahs for old times sake.
May give this a shot next visit although the last time I played I went 21 hands with no winners. I like to play the bonuses too (sucker bets) and have had straight flushes save me at times. Usually the players are easy to associate with.
I won $900 with a Full House the very first time I played it about 10 years ago. Not a nickel since. I don't think I've even played it in 2 or 3 years.
I have had quads twice, both times with all 3 bets in play and am significantly ahead on the game. Last time I played was about 1 1/2 years ago at Main Street. Blew through a $100 bill very quickly. Other than a couple of ventures at Caribbean stud it is the only carnival game that I have played.
Me and Let it Ride is like a mosquito and a bug zapper.... I know it's bad for me, but for some reason I am strangely attracted to it. Usually it is where I end up when I want to continue gambling, but want to take it slow - Let it Ride always fits the bill. I hit 4 of a kind at the Fremont 2 years ago while I was teaching my 21 year old son and his friends how to play all of the Carney games, so I too am ahead in this game lifetime.
This is exactly why I often play it. the game usually goes at a slower pace and while you will still bleed out eventually $100 seems to last me much longer on this game then any of the other carnival games (obviously there are exceptions if you go on really hot or cold streaks on any game)
