That doesn’t really effect me as I’m not really a VP player. One thing I am not liking about this trip is the time zone difference lol I’m from Minnesota which is only a two hour difference but I routinely wake up at 4:15 for the gym or about 5 -5:30 on off days. So I woke up at 2:30 today and was unable to fall back asleep. It’s going to make for some long tired days and boring mornings as the tables don’t open until noon. At least at Cal, not sure about Bellagio. So I went down and played some slots and lost $100. Now I’ve been just chilling in my room as there isn’t really anything going on this early.

LOL I hear you. Maybe one morning check out the Neon Museum, assuming it opens by 10ish.

True, but with the wheels of justice nowadays, there won't be a decision until the 24th anyway. Coming in the middle of August, hope they are on by then.

Wow you guys get to actually visit your gyms? Here in mASS they are barely open, and mine wont announce a date for the fitness center part, closed until August at least! Finally kicked them to the curb. If Vegas wasn’t spiking infections, going to the hotel gym would be a must do for me lol.

Sorry, had to gripe about that! Carry on with a winning trip!

Sorry for the late update. My friends arrived around 12:30 yesterday and after catching up and letting them get settled, we decided to hit the casino. The casino has some people, but Isn’t nearly full or crowded. Craps tables were $10 min until about 3 pm, then they bumped up to $15. I did not have a good day gambling today. Lost my whole daily allowance.

We had reservations and that Golden Steer for dinner. I ended up getting a Prime Rib. Was pretty good and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very mafioso. Went to bed while my friends went out And explored the strip.

Today I woke up around 5:00 and went down to the floor and the machines weren’t really letting me play at all. Went to Sabelles for Breakfast at 7 and got the Eggs Benedict, they easily had the best English muffin I’ve ever had. Totally recommend. One of my buddies got up and we decided to go explore the strip. Not much going on, but this was at about 10:30 in the morning. We met up with some people on Fremont street. We went to the D and I got on a heater. I put $100 down and walked away with $425 before I rolled a 7. I blame the casino rolls for that 7 though, I accidentally threw one off the edge and they don’t allow same dice. Now I’m chilling in the room as I feel like I have been getting some sort of heat related illness. I keep getting really light headed. Don’t know what’s in store tonight but let’s hope I don’t crash at 10:30 this time lol

PS. I also bought an awesome tourist shirt.

Ask one of your buddies to pick you up some Pedialyte at the ABC store.
    Great for re-hydration.

I just put eggs benedict at Sadelle's on my itinerary for my next trip.

I hope you're feeling better. Heat exhaustion is no joke.

THIS. Whether you are 20 or 100, you have to drink a lot of water. It's the heat AND the desert, which just SUCKS the hydration out of you, so you have to hydrate even more.

Felt much better after resting and getting some water in me. We all decided to go to Fremont street last night and let me tell you that was a terrible decision. Absolutely no enforcement of mask wearing. The “thermometers” they used at the D was broken or somehow reading temperatures too low, everyone in my group had a temp of 92*. They forced everyone to go through the metal detectors and you were packed like sardines trying to get through them. It definitely felt like Fremont street of old, but it had made me so uncomfortable that I left after about 20 minutes.

Those D thermometers are worthless. I read someone got 85F once. You could be dead at 85F!
