Private message me if you're interested in my unused lva and acg coupons. Free to first comer. I used most of the match plays but there is alot left. I strategically placed them before I left so you will need to be downtown to obtain.

    Thanks @epWick !

My local buddy did his best impersonation of a cold war spy and retrieved the goods from their hiding spot!

There are a few coupons we will be removing but we're going to pay it forward and hide them again. I'll be sure to let you know when we do!

Thanks for the fun! And the coupons!

    Cheers,
    Kelly

Great and you're welcome! My wife thought I was goofy for doing this. Every year for the last few years I throw a bunch away during the trip, bring the rest home just in case someone I know wants them, then they get tossed. Maybe this will start a new trend?

If you're wondering, I bundled up my coupons and hid them on top of the ice machine in the hotel before leaving for home.

I leave mine on last day sitting next to a lucky machine...imagining myself as Brad Pitt pulling a "Susan B Anthony" for the lucky person that follows.

I also like to leave my coupons and spread the love and luck around. Before I leave I pass the coupon books around and the people at the tables pick and choose. If I will not return to Las Vegas, I will leave it with the tip in the room for housekeeping. I would think locals could get a lot of use out of the coupons.

One of my best memories was teaching a very young couple to play craps on a late Saturday afternoon at the Orleans. They were also from Ohio and flew there to get married. Their parents would arrive the next day for the wedding and then they would all return to Ohio without a honeymoon.

I am a friendly Ohio guy and have a soft spot for young kids starting a life together, especially when they are very small. They were both 21. She was 5' and about 80 lbs. and he was about 5'4" and 120 lbs. I am 6'4", 250 lbs, and at the time had arms and a chest courtesy of Gold's Gym. They were hovering around the table and I invited them to watch. They they were confused and intimidated so I said they could watch me play and that I would answer anything that they want to know. I am a very social guy in a casino when there are nice people around.

After watching for about 20 minutes, they bought in for their entire $100 bankroll. It was all the disposable money they had for the trip and the table was getting hot. I was rolling and they decided to copy my bets using red chips versus my greens. Of course, things went cold and they lost the whole $100. They had that sick on their faces like they lost the family farm -- we have all been there after a bad run in a casino.

I felt guilty but owed them nothing, but I still made a deal with them. I said I will loan them $100 and if it is lost, then it is a gift. I was up a couple thousand so it was ok to be generous. Karma swung back around and we had a great time and about 30 minutes hitting points. They ended up about $300 (after giving me back the $100) and were beyond thrilled. My gf came to get me for dinner and we invited the kids to the cafe and all ate the t-bone special (it is very good every time). I picked up the check and we all went back to the craps table.

We had another pretty good hour and ended up a little more. I think they finally cashed out for $380. They were really nice kids and we all had a nice time together. As we said our goodbyes, we walked away smiling and were going to hit the spa for massages. Suddenly the couple called to us and the young groom ran over and tried to give me $100 teaching them craps, paying for dinner and being so nice to them. It was so cute and sweet and genuine. They were really nice kids.

I declined the money and told them to use it all for a nice honeymoon. I told them that htey should go to get massages before the wedding and to use the money for a great meal with their parents. Then I did something too midwestern -- I got my wallet and gave them two passes to the United Club at the airport. I called it a wedding present and they were very happy. Sometimes, it is great to be in a position to be generous. I still think of the kids anytime I am in the Orleans and hope they are happy and healthy.

Oh well, that is all for now. Be nice to people.
