Yep, the Las Vegas favorite takes it. LeBaron needs to pull Kawhi there though to be competitive. Acquiring Demarcus Cousins won't be nearly enough.

Yup, LBJ can't carry the team for the whole season, they need better players to help out.

Guess the Cav fans will vilify him...again.

Probably some will, but the backlash will be much less severe. He didn't turn free agency into a giant circus like the first time he left, and he did win them a championship.

Sixers and Celtics fans have to falling over themselves. Is there anyone else in the East to worry about?

King James, welcome to Hollywood. Where the cheap seats at Staples used to be $3500 but are now going for over $6000. Where the odds of the Lakers making the playoffs were nada and now tied for second with Boston.
The Magic Man and Capt. Murdock to Superman and the Black Mamba.......the King has arrived :nworthy:

Lebron is looking increasingly pathetic in his futile chase after MJ. He will struggle in the west after many years of cakewalking through the eastern conference.

Safe to say that his streak of 8 straight finals appearances will end this coming season. However, he obviously bought whatever Magic was selling, as he signed for 4 years with a player option on the 4th....something he was never willing to do in Cleveland; rather he strung them along with what was essentially a series of year to year deals. That gives the Lakers time to properly build around him.

While they won't compete for a title this year, they could be a force starting next year with another big free agent or two, plus the development of their recent draft picks.

This makes total sense, I just read that the Staples center is about 11 miles from his office on the Warner Bros. lot.

Sorry... I'm just not sure the words "pathetic" and "LeBron" have ever or will ever belong in the same sentence.

    Challenge accepted:

Lebron is finally free from that pathetic roster that he has been carrying around.

    Do I win?

WOW!!! As a Warriors’ fan, I’m not sure how I feel about this... Boogie’s an INCREDIBLE talent, BUT... how he’ll fit in “the mix” is worrisome. He’s been a bit of a “handful” everywhere he’s been. How’s he gonna take it when Draymond gets knee deep in his shit over something?

I understand he won’t be available till December or January from his Achilles injury... that gives them all even less time to “gel”.

I dont think the Lakers stand a chance even with Lebron against the Warriors with Cousins added to that team.
