    My Trip Report

Anniversary trip with my husband #36. Son and new fiancé are coming along. This will be wife #3. I think in Texas he will have bagged his limit. Lol.

I am not good at live trip reports. But if I win big -- get a royal or hand pay I will post it and let you bask in my glory. When I get back I should have some good photos and video. I plan to hijack them from my son. He posts a lot on YouTube and he is a Vegas Virgin. Photography is a big hobby for him. He has a big to do list.

We have the Escalade limo lined up. Eats will be - Cheesecake Factory-- don't be a hater-- I love their Chicken Farfalle. Breakfast/brunch at Mon Ami, - these 2 for sure because I have gift cards. Staying at Luxor in tower room. It was dirt cheap and lucky for my husband I am low maintenance. I could have got an MGM Grand for about the same price but couldn't get my son a room for reasonable rate so we stuck with The Luxor. - Other eats we will see as we go-- Food court Nathan's Philly cheesesteak and Original Chicken Tenders-- all I will say is it ain't McDonald's McNuggets-- they are really good.

We will be taking the Redeye out of Austin on Friday the 13th- I was 13 on Friday the 13th and turned 30 on Friday the 13th. I know I will be hitting it big.

Ok, you're taking a lesser room to be considerate for your son (though I think a tower room will still be very pretty), love high-end food and "just good comfort" food alike, AND are from Texas? Well I am officially cheering for a fantastic trip for all of you!

Have a last Vwhiten, and yes, if your son is into social media, he'll have your trip report photos COVERED. Just focus on having a blast, and I hope its amazing!

I need to find a good sports bar to watch the Cowboys beat the Packers.

I'll be disappointed if they lose, but it is one item to scratch off the bucket list. Packer road game. Expensive Packer road game, but what the hell.

Husband #36? That has to be some sort of record...

Just kidding. Safe travels and good luck. Look forward to the rest of your report.

My wife and I have been coming to Vegas for the past few years for the Playoffs. Try the Yard House at the Linq. It is a first come first serve. What I mean by that is that, they don't have a charge to come and watch the game like some of the other sports bars. The food and service is good and there are TVs everywhere. They also have a huge beer selection. We will be there next weekend to what the Falcons play the Cowboys. Have fun and GO COWBOYS!!!!

You might as well enjoy Dallas for a few days then come on over to ATL for the next game.

A little bit overconfident, aren't we? I am not a Packers or Cowboys fan, but being so confident when Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback your team is playing against, is very dangerous. A great season by Dallas is down the drain. Won't it be great not having to see Jerry Jones's face
    on TV every 2 minutes?

Well put, casino kid. As a life long Packer fan, it's great just sitting here quietly, watching overconfident Cowboy fan wonder what the hell just happened in 35 seconds? I so badly wanted to see Jerry Jones' face on camera just one more time after the game ended.

Be aware the Jer is from Arkansas and not Texas. We merely have to endure him. And it isn't easy. His initial mistake was not in firing Tom Landry but his methods. Mr. Landry gave a lot over time and appeared to be callously cast aside. Then the ego battle with Jimmy Johnson.....showed a real knowledge of what makes things work. History since reflects his foresight. He is a pip!

Back in town. Will try to get caught up. Sadly, yes, the Cowboys lost. I haven't watched a game all season until this one. We got rid of cable. I'm not a die hard fan. I grew up watching Tom Landry. I have never been a Jerry Jones fan -- I have teased my friends and family that are Cowboy fanatics. I didn't think they would ever get this far. This year it was nice to see such a wonderful young man, Dak Prescott, lead his team. He has a wonderful, touching story. It was a great game. My son and fiance watched it at NYNY and the husband and I watched it in our room.

I will post lots of pics -- most I will be stealing from my son. He is a techno geek and he has a techy looking contraption he uses with his cell phone when taking videos. It was funny because people would walk up to him and thought he was some kind of documentary film maker.

We had a good time -- came back with a little bit of bank roll intact -- not bad because we were extreme micro rollers this time.
