Okay, that's a wrap. I had a good nap and then hit the casino one more time.

Caught the end of the Seahawks game and them had to go collect Dan's bet.

I just can't win this trip, but at least the drink service is good, so I feel like I got something.

I moved over to Gustav's and this guy and his wife sat down next to me. Looked like he was trying to teach his wife how to play.

Bartender came over with his drinks and tried to explain the light system and why he has to pay. I'm usually on the side of the player, but this guy was kind of whiny about it and tried to make it the bartender's fault.

He was super patient and showed him the light on my machine was blue and his was not. Eventually he let him have the drinks, but the guy continued to be a crybaby. Sheesh.

Then he tossed his cards without holding anything and tried to hold on the draw. He calls over another bartender and complained the machine was broken. Bartender wasn't having it and just pushed the service button and walked away.

Service girl came over and the guy was whining at her too about having to pay for the drinks he didnt actually pay for. She wasn't sure what was happening, so I tapped her shoulder and whispered in her ear he was being a jerk. She nodded a little and patiently walked him through how to play. He got more bitchy and she moved him over one machine, saying "Maybe this one will work better for you." I giggled myself into a coughing fit.

The wife gave me the evil eye and I told her to drink her drink and go before they changed their mind and made her pay for them. She did.

When the bartender came to bring me another I asked how often they have to explain the light system. He said not too often anymore and how people learned to hit and run, putting in 20 to get a drink and then immediately cashing out and leaving.

We had a good chat while I played. I love the bartenders at Gustav's. They always take such good care of me there.

Still couldn't hit much, but it wasn't too horrible.

Up and down, up and down. Once I was sufficiently lubricated, I threw out an extra tip and said bye. Then wandered over to say bye to Walking Dead.

    Thanks, Rick!!!

I went by the TR desk and finally swapped my 10 year old card for a shiny new Platinum card. Then to the front desk where I had my RCs applied to my bill. 6 nights and all the food I charged and my bill for the morning is ZERO. :woohoo:

I'm back in my room and all packed up, except for what I need in the morning.

I'm going to play on my phone a bit longer and go to sleep. The alarm is set for 7:30a and I'll get up and dressed and grab a coffee for the ride to the airport.

I've fully got the plague, but I hope I can medicate it enough that TSA will let me on the plane.

Dan is going to lunch south of Seattle with some work people and then he's going to pick me up at the airport on the way home.

The casino wasn't as kind as I'd like, but I still have about 30% of my bankroll. I got to have plenty of good times with old friends, met some new people, and managed to put a dent into the supply of Captain Morgan and Titos Vodka in town.

I will probably need about a week to recover from this trip, but it was totally worth it!!

Thanks for following along. Sorry I couldn't get that damned Royal, but I sure tried!!

Great TR! Especially liked the pics and comments on the VMB meet ups. Hope you get well soon and you're not banished to some sort of TSA decontamination tent.

I've been on multiple flights with people that have definitely had the plague. TSA DGAF, as long as you look reasonably close to the person on your ID, you'll be fine. Your seatmates will hate you, but that won't be your problem after today ;)

Thank you for the detailed trip report. I laughed at so many things here. Glad you mostly had a good time, and thank you for leaving some alcohol behind. :drunk:

I don't know what it is, but I come back with at least $80 to $100 in 5's every Vegas trip. It's like magic...turning $100's into $5's!

I have Social Anxiety Disorder, so this is pretty much my worst nightmare. It's going to be a long day, but at least my husband and my dog will be waiting for me on the other end of it.

Shower time then airport time!! I found a Costco sized bag of Ricolla cough drops so... fingers crossed.

Someone with a grosser cough than me is on the flight. I'm calling that a win. ;)

See ya on the other side.

ask them what they are betting on this weekend. They will warm up pretty fast. Some are just curmudgeons, though.
