Hi Everyone:
I orininally posted about a month ago. Taking trip with M-I-L, S-I-L, mother and myself. Was going to leave this coming Sunday the 16th...but inlaws are flying out this Friday. I checked into leaving Friday as well, and the airline I'm taking has a flight leaving this Friday the 14th at 4:30. This is Great! But hotel rates are high for Friday and Saturday night. In May I stayed at the Trop and found it to be a positive experience so I called and asked for a Host. Have never done this before. Called the Trop, they put me through to Host and unbelievably I got Friday and Saturday night Comped with Tickets to Folis Berge Saturday night...Yippee...I now changed my flight to this coming Friday at 4:30.
So...the girlfriends and I went out last night and decided to patronize the local casino at the wee hours of this morning after some cocktails to sober up (we live in the suburbs and we were in the city... about a 45 minute drive home) don't need one of those DUI or DWI... whoa hoa...who's ever idea this was....was awesome! Left with a pocket full of bills...remember hitting 250.00 on a dollar machine, then 100.00, then 400.00 on a .50 machine...then yippee 1,000 on a $ machine!!!! I have more $$ for Vegas on Friday...in fact...leaving my checking&Savings account alone...have all I need to take with me.
Counted my winnings Yes after 2 hours sleep (my lovely children just didn't want to sleep in
Can't believe it! 1,843.00 OH MY! I have never one this much! Last May I hit $500 on WOF in Vegas..my biggest win yet and thought that was great. But...is this a sign of things to come in the next week....2 free nights at Trop, free show tickets...winning this morning...Lets hope the good luck stays with me for another week and half.
I will post my trip report when I return after the 19th.
I love reading this board and hope you enjoyed my story this morning (I've called all the people I can think of to tell them my great fortune) so I just had to share with you all.
For now...its time to put a movie in for the children...lay down and try to rid myself of this horrible headache.
