    My Trip Report

Heading back to my happy place, Ballys from the 2nd to the 5th. I took a trip back in June and hung with some badass guys in Gaggles, Timspeed and MB. I also didn't finish that TR - first time ever I left those who actually read it hanging lol - because I had my biggest loss ever and was salty, but whatever I had fun and at the end of the day, this town wasn't built on winners.

I'm going back so soon due to quitting my job yesterday and beginning one a week from Monday so, not having a week off in years, I figured I would do something for myself. I have a very supportive and amazing wife.

For those who've read my TRs, it will be mostly Blackjack, getting drunk, one nice dinner, and probably no sleep coupled wirh a deluge of arbitrary photos (including of some ridiculous t shirts I wear for attention). I'm far from a high roller, but I tip well and know about half the dealers at the Cromwell by name so, provided the double deck is still there, my ass will be still there.

My wife was invited but alas, she couldn't go (she hasn't gone since we were just dating 3-4 years ago when I lost lol).

    Goals:

    1) Win- it's been roughly 6+ years since I've won in Vegas so I'll even take a break even.
    2) have fun
    3) meet some new VMBers- I normally meet at least one or two and every single person I've met has been awesome. I'm 32 and look like the typical DC asshole (I'm not though lol), but I get along with anyone so looking forward to meeting some new people from different walks of life if anyone is around. One of my favorite parts of Vegas is just escaping the reality over here currently, so it's nice to hear new, fresh perspectives and better dialogue instead of "who do you work for" and "where did you go to school" (that shit is asked here daily). Who reallt cares about that stuff IMO.

This trip is to celebrate a new job, ending an old one, and helping a friend on the side run for congress (we will lose but it will be an experience).

Next stop, BWI in a few short hours. Let's hope I can make this TR more interesting than the last one! Lol

I've been to Vegas 5 times, with my best result being a break-even, so I'm jealous of any time you've won. Good luck!

Thx guys, just getting started with the in flight beers, 3 hours to go lol. Always amazes me how sometimes this flight is 4 hours and sometimes it's over 5, with today being 5 ugh, oh well, more time to get lubricated lol

Close to landing finally, first stop will be Sully's. I've seen quite a few posts about the bartenders there being badass and while I've been a good bit, I'm not sure which bartenders are the "best"- any suggestions? I suck at VP but as always, will use Sully's to get sufficiently primed for some Cromwell or PH BJ shortly thereafter. Whomever can get me where I need to be will be utilized and tipped accordingly lol.

    Thanks for the suggestions! :)
