Is there any place on the Strip, preferably in the NY NY area, where you can do laundry? Usually our Vegas trips aren't long enough for me to waste time at a gym, however our upcoming trip is longer, so we will have some spare time, especially in the mornings. I'd like to use the hotel gym but I really don't like the idea of traveling home with sweat soaked clothes.

There are laundry services and laundromats off strip. Nothing really close. Probably easiest near NYNY is on the far side of the UNLV campus on Tropicana.

If it's just a couple things, the hotel has a laundry service and there's always the option of washing in the sink.

My option is to bring a few extra ziplock bags for dirty laundry.

    closest / most convenient - 1801 e. Tropicana - 24 hour laundromat. 3 miles from NYNY Casino.

Sweet Jeebus the last thing I'd want to do on a Vegas vacation is sit around in a laundromat watching undies spin around. Use the hotel laundry service or follow Hyperfocal's advice and just bag it.

I've used Wizard of Suds several times. West on Flamingo, then left on Arville, then just a couple of doors down on the right. We just drop it off and pick it up later. I don't remember what they charged (by the pound), but it wasn't much.

If you've already got a rental car then it only takes 5 mins to drop off or pick up a service wash and then go about your business for the day.
