So much truth in this statement!

We will be in LV again in March.
So what's different for THIS trip?
    • My attitude. I'm not so in love with Vegas anymore that I will overlook details like prices, service and "value" perceived or otherwise.
    • Budget, low/no roll. 80% NGO. seriously, gambling 2 out of 10 days.
    • No "high end" restaurants. It's all fast, casual, HH or buffets this trip.

Like you said above, we were tired of the crappy service $60 lunches or $100 dinners that were just burgers or a sandwich and fries.
Why egregiously overpay for sub-par cafe food?
At least with a buffet it's usually fast & inexpensive. Plus there's usually a decent variety.

I'll take a low-roller knee on this trip.

That was a good report, lots of detail and variety. I may be one of the few VMBers who has never eaten at Peppermill or played Sigma Derby so enjoyed seeing both! Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed your report and photos. Your wife definitely looks happy in the photo with the soldier :

Great report and pictures. Agree with you on the escalating food prices, it's insane for regular, nothing special food. But you can still find cheaper options at certain places. Still love Vegas though!! And that phone number is all over the Strip. I saw it numerous times walking Las Vegas Blvd. a few week ago.

I have minimal exposure to this forum but I must say wow what a fantastic review of so many different places and things to do. I will show it to my girlfriend and hopefully it will get her pumped up to get out to Vegas!

You can get lost in the Trip Reports forum here. So many good photos and descriptions of places and things to do. I spend hours looking at people photos.

And as much as I said I am taking a break, we are already planning another trip.

I see very well that one can get lost in the Trip Reports OMG. It's awesome.

Have a great trip on your next visit. I'm trying to plan something with the GF around her Spring Break as she works for the school system here in Memphis. Allegiant now flies non-stop out of Memphis to Vegas 3x per week I think?!

Hiya .. good and informative report, thank you!

As for cheap food, I see you hit up White Castle but staying at Mirage - there's a Denny's across the street too in Casino Royale ( I know, yuck, LOL but it's cheap!). Flamingo has a Johnny Rockets too but not sure how late they are open.

Great breakdown in your report! Really appreciate all the info and pictures. We’re doing one night at The Mirage this summer, so enjoyed seeing so much in your report about it. Good stuff!
