I always enjoyed it too. I seem to recall the casino set they built in LA was the most expensive ever built for a series up to that time. Compared to most tv or movie casino depictions, it was about the best I've seen.

Watching my wife binge on the show this weekend has made me realize just how awful it is... it borders on unwatchable. Security with Danny and Mike better than anything Gaming Control could offer (if Gaming Control or Metro had any idea what goes on there...) , Ed straight out of "Casino" and channeling Sonny Corelone, and all anyone can talk about is sex. Delinda (when questioned about some missing diamonds) "Have you ever had sex in this room? I believe you have" followed with "I am not wearing panties right now".

I am not bemoaning it not being realistic (it is TV, after all). It's just very, very bad, and right at home on E! TV.

Well, you're right. It is shameless in every way, but still a guilty pleasure. I'll pretty much watch anything about Vegas—even watched that sappy kid's show about Treasure Island. I do disagree that Caan is channeling Sonny—Ed DeLine a far more principled tough and a lot smarter than Sonny. But, yeah, I get your point.

I wouldn't say Sonny Corleone, just a tough guy. Comes from all that international CIA experience most casino presidents have. Makes me recall all of the Review Journal articles about Jim Murren punching customers out in the MGM!

I watched a Las Vegas episode yesterday where the actor who played Goldberg the goalie from the mighty ducks helped a school teacher cheat at a poker tournament.
Man did it go down hill for him.

My DVR is picking up episodes this Sunday June 7th beginning at 3:00AM CST, Then starting at noon CST on Wednesday June 10th, Friday June 12th continually thru Sunday evening, and Tuesday June 16th.

Sunday lists season 5, the others don’t reflect any detail.

Too bad they didn’t start showing these back when the shutdown began, my DVR is filling up:popcorn:

Excellent, good job annbrown57. I believe that season 5 was when Tom Selleck became the owner of the Montecito. Seems like by that time they had also started running out of decent scripts—as if they ever had any (LOL). But I still love this show and am already programming the DVR.

Nikki Cox turned 42 yesterday. She has done almost nothing since Las Vegas.

Well, I wouldn't say nothing. She has had a lot of plastic surgery. It may be why she hasn't had an acting role.

I think her lips were done in by botox. Not sure what was wrong with them to begin with. As far as acting, she evidently has some mental health issues that probably come into the equation. Her ex is Jay Lohr the comedian and I believe he has full custody of their child as the result.

It's not funny, it's sad. She was such a beauty. Unfortunately once you start that plastic surgery and one doesn't go well it's a marathon trying to fix it.
People should think twice, don't fix it if it ain't broke.
