    My Trip Report

Heading to Vegas tomorrow for a day trip. Flight gets in around noon and will leave around noon Sunday. Yes, I am aware the casino's are closed. A friend of mine shared that some bars are open though so I will be visiting some friends in the area. I am staying at the Westin and perhaps will go to the pool for a bit to enjoy the 95+ degree weather and I figured it would be once in a lifetime opportunity to see what Las Vegas is like when the strip is shut down. Flight leaves bright and early in the morning. Will report back tomorrow.

Wow @Marlin3 - looking forward to your TR. It looks like your from Wisconsin. If you could be so kind as to take pictures within your departure airport & then McCarran. I’m interested in seeing the contrast between the two. Thanks!

Social distancing on flights Masks required. Boarded in reverse order to avoid passing more people. People moved around to have more space between passengers on the flight.

Not sure if everyone gets it. I see this one guy in front of me going as far as wearing latex gloves but he keeps touching everything and keeps playing with his mask and face. The only two places the glove touches is either the arm rest or his mask/chin area

Interesting info on your flight....there are always stupid people in any situation....that other guy somehow only digests certain info & probably thinks he doing the right thing....gloves touching everything! lol looking forward to more updates

About to board at Ohare. I would say these flights are about 50% capacity.

edit: this flight is significantly less actually. Probably around 20%. The social distancing on a plane is great!

Can you give us a ballpark estimate on how many were on the plane with you?

On the first leg probably 25 out of 50 seats, 2nd leg maybe 40-50 out of 160. Airlines are allowing you to cancel or reschedule if the flights are over 70% capacity. Pretty sure they are blocking all middle row seats on flights.
