This is beyond ridiculous. How does this even happen? The hotel and casino has been closed for a really long time!

And they are charging $40 a night while the GG is charging $18. Hey, maybe somebody is still using the hotel to get some extra money. The hotel and rooms are still there, just that the place is closed down. Even then, $40 a night is still a rip off for that rat trap.

Groupon is a struggling business. Like many internet companies, they've never made money and have a high cash burn rate. If you look at their financials you'll see they still aren't moving toward profitability. Nevertheless, they've got a market cap of around $2 billion. I just don't get these companies.

Buy their wares with caution. Some of them work fine, like the one for The Vanguard Lounge on East Fremont. Others don't, like the one they had for the new(ish) grocery market across from El Cortez. They wouldn't honor it last year, even though it was within the "valid" time period. Said they'd stopped honoring them. Groupon gave us a credit for another Groupon.

Think I've purchased that one for the market twice (not recently) and never had a problem other than the total had to be at least $20 or more, nothing less. Remember I had to add a candy bar because I was at 19 and change.

This a great deal, thanks for the heads up! For my next trip, I plan to stay on one of the floors without ghosts in the windows.

Hey, can I get the top floor? And, I mean the entire floor, not just a room.
