I hope this helps someone. I thought it was a pretty good opportunity.

You can buy Landry's Restaurants gift cards at Costco. $80 for $100 worth of gift cards (2 @ $50 each cards). They are delivered electronically in a few minutes. You can print them out, or use them as digital cards.

    https://www.costco.com/landry's-multi-brand-restaurants-%2526-more%2c-two-%2450-e-gift-cards.product.100793615.html

    That's 20% off right there.

Now, if you are a geezer like me, you can also get 10% off at the restaurant for showing your AARP card.

    https://www.aarp.org/benefits-discounts/all/landrys-inc-restaurants-10093/

If you aren't yet qualified for AARP, you can also show your AAA (and I think CAA) card for 10% off. Unfortunately you cannot get a double discount for showing both cards.

    https://discounts.texas.aaa.com/partner/landry-s-seafood-house/?pid=81225&offer_category=c122cas&cate1=737

So 20% off when buying the gift cards at Costco and another 10% off for showing your AARP or AAA card at the restaurant nets you 30% off in total!

There are some brands/restaurants that aren't eligible, but most are. You can read the "fine print" on all the links above.

    Happy Landry's dining y'all! Cheers.

Sweet deal, especially since a lot of their restaurants have locations in casinos around the country.

I know that several of the Landry's restaurants at Lake Charles give a 10-15% active duty/veterans disc doesn't seem that Las Vegas does. Don't know if they still do but Mon Ami in Paris gave a 20% veterans discount. With a $100 bill we saved $20.

Semantics, but it's actually 28% off rather than 30%. I normally wouldn't have even mentioned it but since you referenced AARP, that prompted me go look to see how old you need to be to get a card. That led me to realize that I'm less than 8 months from being able to get one. That made me want to weep openly. This is my revenge.

Good news is that anyone can get an AARP card. It's simply dedicated to people over 50. There's been some useful things with AARP that I've taken advantage of in the past. Looks funny when I pull out the card though as I'm not in their targeted age group.
