Let me just preface these remarks by saying we had some unexpected bills this suumer but i was determined to get back to Vegas after visiting last year and falling in love with the place. Also my Father-in-law came but this is my repoort not his.

Booked package thru South West.(hotel, fights, and rental car for 5 days including taxes $720.00)

Left Rhode Island 8:20 am arrrived Vegas via stop over in Kanas City(funcky airport) at 1:40 pm.
Had dinner, hung out in downtown Sat nite. Saw the light show, which was great, and had so drinks. Could not find a happy craps table any where(bad omen). All Tables were 5 bucks,ok it was sat nite.

Sunday showed father in law strip and such, he was last here 28yrs ago. "Wow" to quote him.
Had lunch at Westward Hoe. Had to try famous 3/4 pound hot dog with krout and soda for lunch(burp). Wife had coffee and Danish. $5.00 lunch. It's 1:30 let me catch some of the Pats and Buf game, DDUUHH it's over. Hello what do you mean it was on at 10 am. ok Pats won. Not another year like last year i don't know if I can take another 1 1/2 min. march down field for winning field gole.

Stayed there for couple hours, I throw ball, dolphins keeps knocking it out of pool, I throw back again, same thing. Hey who is playing with who and who is more inteligent.
Nice place to hang out for a break. Worth the money.

Sunday Nite went to Gold Coast To see Honky Tonk Girls. Show and buffet both great. Yeah 2 dollar craps table and people are having fun, ok i Got half hour before show seats, came out 8 dollars ahead( ME BIG High Roller).

Mon morning stoped by Ellis Island Casino for breakfast(first time there). Beakast was greatand cheap. Now off to The Dam. Worth seeing do the tour fro 10.00 it's worth it.

Monday nite Prime Ribb at Las vegas Club casino. 5.95 with salid bar. very cool. Mon nite played craps at four queens, and plaza. I did ok wife did not. Not to many happy faces, wow still 5 dollar tables at lady luck, what is up with that.

Tuesday free breakfast coupons for el cortez. Psent some money on nickles vidio poker. Hey got free pair of dice too. Breakfast ok. wow $1 craps table more like it. no time to play. Damm.

Tuesday nite showed dad Belagio water show. Diiner at ellis island casino. We all had 4.95 steak dinner. Went to see Smothers Brother at Hilton. Great Show

Nice trip report. We also really enjoyed taking a break and seeing the dolphins at Mirage. I think I also saw the same dolphin playing ball with someone. It was fun to watch. [IMG]

Hi Dave, I'm just curious. Was it $720.00 per person or for the two of you? Thank you
