Kind of a TR

I was there May 3-10 (I know couple weeks late posting this but I was at the beach last week and part of this week, came back from Vegas to go straight to the beach). If I would've posted my full 8 day TR you would've been here ALL DAY reading it.

This is not exactly a trip report. Just some things I NOTICED in Vegas when I was there two weeks ago.

1) I'd never been in IP before. I swore up and down that the Trop was the tackiest/worst hotel on the Strip. The IP is now up there with it. Rockhouse is a lot smaller/crappier than it appears on the internet. It's simply a bar between the street and the taxi drop off.

2) The construction workers working on CityCenter getting drunk at the Hawaiian Marketplace, then going back to work on the building.

3) The chicks at Hooters have no Hooters (believe me I looked)

4) I never found the slot machines at the Golden Nugget that paid out meat (I was told there were ones that paid steak dinners). :-(. Then again I was really drunk and didn't do enough of a search for them, so they may be there. But that hotel is nice.

5) Glitter Gulch rocks. Chicks, not so hot, music = good. Only strip club I've ever been in that has Dancing Dollars and a snack bar

6) Played bingo at the Plaza out of pure drunkeness, but I found the beef jerky store in the process. Couldn't keep up with the bingo because the caller was using his 1-900 voice and was going way to fast.

7) I've finally noticed all the LA valley girls that sit in Vegas on the weekends, and they get on my nerves and they all stay at pHo and ALL have fake cheap boob jobs (I never seen so many mis shapened boobs in my life). That hotel is pretty and neat, but only if you're a club going disco queen with fake boobs and blonde hair. NOT my cup of tea.

8) Tropicana still sucks and I love it. If I go back in December I will be staying here. (actually I think we're going back in October now and staying at IP or Bills)

9) All the Criss Angel crap in the Luxor, someone choke him please. Also, they've really changed the Luxor's casino. All the shades of blue and the new bars. Looks nice, but trendy.

10) Saw Vinnie Paul (drummer for Pantera for those of you that don't know, if you don't know who Pantera is then you shouldn't read the rest of this) at the BITE show on Saturday. Thought he was an impersonator until I saw the rest of his small entourage and how quiet he was. Very quiet guy (even when the drunk frat guy came running across the room screaming VINNIE! He just stood there quietly and shook the guys hand). And of course I left my camera in the room.
Oh and BITE sucks. Flat chests and it's all horribly staged.

Had an awesome week with the BF though, stayed at Polo Towers and Hooters (for one night and it SUCKED). Will be taking my best friend back sometime before the end of the year. Getting pretty cheap deals at IP or Bills.
