Sorry for the delay all in finishing this as the 2nd vaccine dose really wasn't kind to me.

Carrot Top was good but definitely subdued given the small audience. Hes still funny as he's ever been and it was good to see him on stage.

Said see you soon to my new Okie friend after the show and called it a relatively early night (well did give Cosmo some more of my $$$).

I had one last Vegas thing to do before my flight home - a buffet!!! Yes - Wicked Spoon!!! I had heard so many great things and I was excited to try. Was seated right away and was impressed with the set up. Roped off food with servers putting individual servings on your plate. I thought overall the food was good but I wasn't overwhelmed. I know it isn't fair to compare pre and post Covid experiences but I have to give the edge in the buffet category to Bacchanal at Caesars based on these 2 experiences. Don't get me wrong - Wicked Spoon was very good but some of the dishes weren't very tasty. Anyway here's a few shots of my various samplings... 20210422_090901.jpg 20210422_092404.jpg 20210422_093854.jpg 20210422_095639.jpg

After Wicked Spoon I headed off to LAS in a taxi (no Uber/Lyft for me this trip - taxis were so much easier!)

No real lines to speak of and breezed thru TSA precheck. Boarded flight and after a series of events got home but a bit richer with a $100 SW travel voucher in my pocket.

Overall I couldn't have had a better solo trip. I've done solo trips in the past but this one absolutely takes the cake! Everything worked out so perfectly (with the exception of the flight home.)

My MIL was clearly jealous so we've decided to take advantage of the SW travel voucher, some lucrative MGM offers and head back west for 4th of July weekend. Definitely will be a different trip with a 77yr old in tow (no Cosmo balcony  or fine dining) but I'm gonna make the most of it once again!!! So you all aren't getting rid of me that soon. I'll be around for a few more months planning the next adventure - Tina wants her Buffalos! Watch this space :peace:
