Just got back!

Well, I am finally rested and recovered from a 2 night stay in Vegas. I don't really want to type out a day to day trip report since a lot of it was boring. I'll just give you some little details and cute stories.
~The drive from L.A. SUCKS! Everytime I have gone to Vegas, I have flown and NEVER will drive there again. The car broke down 25 miles from Baker and 68 miles from Vegas. We were stuck at some random gas station in the middle of the hot desert for an hour fighting with AAA and attempting to get the car started. Finally, by the grace of GOD, the car started!
~The $20 trick at The Venetian works. We were upgraded to a 2 queen room with an AWWESOME view!! We could see the pirate show at TI the pools (I think we could see 3 of them) Las Vegas Hilton, the new hotel that they are building, all the North Strip properties, and clear to Downtown. I could not have asked for a more beautiful view! The room was wonderful! The door was a little weird... kind of tight and hard to open, but everything else was beautiful!
~I need to learn to pace myself in Vegas. I go crazy when I am there! No one can keep up with me! My friends all took naps or wanted to go back to the room by 2. I spent a lot of time by myself meeting people, drinking and partying! I love Vegas. Everyone is always nice and ready to have a good time. I have never seen more open minded poeple
~Aladdin Buffet... good as always! I ussually eat like a bird but I had about 4 plates here!
~Went to Studio 54 on Tues. night. We got there early to avoid any line. I am glad we did. They played disco music for an hour or so before the place got busy. I was so drunk by that point I would have danced to anything! They did start playing hip hop at about 11. I love being a girl... no cover charge and boys buy you all kinds of drinks!
~Drunken Blackjack at O'Shea's. I remember having a fun table and a low minimum. But thats about it. I lost only about $25, which was great considering how drunk I really was. Won that $25 back on a Wild Cherry machine, which I had great luck on the whole trip.
~ I saw hookers! I know there are everywhere, but I never actually spoke to one and saw them in action. They are everywhere in The Venetian!
~I liked the pool at Venetian. Large pool, good cocktail service, no kids, and nice poeple!
~People stare at me and my best friend all the time! I know we are REALLY trendy but I felt like a lot of people were staring because they thought bad of us. I don't care... but it was just an observation.
~Finally tried Paris breakfast Buffet. How good is that? I am obsessed!! I couldn't stop eating and just thought tthe whole place was just adorable.
~It being hot, my friend and I thought it would be cool to walk down the strip in our bikinis so we could get tan and walk arround at the same time. I was having a blast, but so many comments and dirty looks!
~Went to Venus at The Venetian on Weds. Night. It was free for girls (I think... I know we didn't pay). Cool place. I danced for a couple hours then decided to go to Casino Royale to gamble for a little while. All the tables were full so I sat down at my first penny slot. I think these machines are kind of pointless. I never lost much, but never won much either. Maybe my attentian span isn't large enough or maybe I wasn't on the best machine!?
~I love the Casinos early in the moring.(arround 6 am) You see the hookers, the party animals just coming home looking like crap, the chain smoker video poker players who have been playing non stop for days, and people like me who can not sleep more than a couple hours in Vegas and love to walk arround and meet poeple.
~ I need to find more friends who are as obsessed with Vegas as I am. It seems that everytime I go, my friends dont want to party s much as I do, or drink as much as I do. When I go, I want to live it up and see and do as much as I can! Eventhough non of my friends could keep up with me, I still managed to go off alone and meet people very easily. I had so much fun with all the random people!

Amen to casino's in the early morning - hookers, drunks, and hard-core gamblers. Right on! Did you chat with some of the working girls?

 

Hey--I resemble two-thirds of that remark. And you know if I could get paid for the third, I certainly would!

Yeah, I did! I overheard one girl talking about "size" (REALLy funny conversation!~!!) and I kind of got the point that she was a working girl. Then she sat next to me at the bar and said she liked my skirt. She said she went to UNLV. I told her I was meeting my 2 guy friends there and when they came down to meet me they propositioned them. I think the exact phrase was "We're escorts... you interested?" They said no... but I took a picture of them together. haha... I can't wait to get my film developed.

 

Hmmmmmm..... According to a couple of websites Venus has a cover for both men and women. Yet when I was there last time they also said we could go in for free.

You obviously weren't on the best machine, because Casino Royale is where I hit my 200 credit JaCkPoT! That remains the biggest I've hit to date, and when telling the story I usually neglect to mention that it was on a penny slot

Thanks for the trip report. It was great. Sorry you had trouble on the drive up. Personally, I would always choose driving over flying since I like being able to have a car in town.

Excellent trip report! Sounds like you has as many great drinking nights as me and my brother did. I know what you mean about people keeping up with you and being that fired up about Vegas. We will have to coordinate trips next time since you sound like you can party!

 

Great trip report! Walking down the strip in a bikini??? You must be young, thin, in shape, and very confident. I was wondering though - where did you put your player cards??
