Just got back......

Yay! A successful trip! It is very nice to actually come home a winner. I decided to dedicate this trip to gambling only. It is strange where you end up sometimes.
3/15- Check in at the Rio...blah blah blah, I truly do not like this hotel, and this stay just verified that again.
We decided to go next door to the Gold Coast to play. I sat at BJ for a good 3 hours and decided to head back to the Rio. On the way out the door I hit four deuces with an ace on a 50 cent machine.....good for 1000 bucks!.....
Next day......wake up at 2pm...
I hit the Rio spa for some R&R (good times!)
We decided to use a food voucher we had at Harrahs instead of Rio so we took the free shuttle over there....
From Harrah's we went to Fremont Street and visited some downtown casinos. We ended up at the Main Street Station (I love this casino)
For some reason, I couldn't lose!
I kept winning at BJ! I decided to try my luck at $1 Video poker and I hit 2 Four of a kinds, good for $250 a piece.
We got back to the Rio at 6am after a very eventful and fun cab ride.
We decided to go back to the Main St. the next day because we got some comped buffets.
I won another $250. I think I am officially the 4 of a kind king! I decided i wanted to keep some money because at the last minute the previous night I got a tad crazy. I played deuces wild quarters on a triple play and hit 4 deuces, good for another $250.....

Came home $400 up with free rooms and the crazy hook up at Main Street Station.
Fun, random, on a whim trip.

Great report! If you would have missed the 5 aces on the deuces wild video poker you end up down $600 and depressed about gambling. Enjoy the winning trip. Everybody deserves one once in a while.

Sounds like a successful trip. I hope I do as well next week. Also staying at the RIO and don't care to gamble much there. Although, Last spring break I did hit a royal flush on the quater VP RIO Rita machine. So I can't say much about the RIO. BUT.... BJ is horrible there and that is also what my husband and I like to play. Will have to check out the GC.

I'm totally there Lmadrid! Just say the word! Just to add.....the limits at the tables at the Rio are too high and it is very dark. I forgot to add that I put down $100 on a blackjack hand (usually I'm 20-25) and I hit a blackjack. I was very lucky this trip!
