Got back to reality today after 3 nights at the Wynn. We stayed in the Tower Suites and it was amazing. Such great service. Totally worth the extra cost IMO. Saw some good shows, ate terrific food, relaxed. Really didn't want to come back.

We saw Absinthe at Caesars (so funny), Fantasy at Luxor (entertaining I guess but IMO pretty bad) and Cirque Michael Jackson One (very good)

I have to say Fantasy was a big disappointment to me. I could be wrong but it didn't really feel like a true topless show. In glad it was free through myvegas. Crazy Girls put on a better show. I don't really go to a show like that for a lot of singing and comedy and that's what Fantasy did.

We go once or twice a year and stay for 6 nights and I'm never quite ready to com home. We used to love the Mirage when we first started going to Vegas and then MGM pretty much de-themed and took all the fun out of the property IMO. So, I can honestly say that if the Wynn/Encore resort was not in Vegas, I probably wouldn't go. After 25 years of going to Vegas, we rarely venture outside of that property anymore and when we do we don't see anything that excites us. Took a partial day trip to Cosmo last year and neither one of us liked the property. Probably the only other place we'd ever consider staying is Bellagio but right now, I can't think of a reason we would.

If you had to pick one would it be Absinthe or MJ One?

I have seen both, and that's not a fair question IMO! Different genres and both were absolutely the best at what they do (comedy with some great acts and a really revved up production show, respectively).

OK... I know they are different genres but we're only going to go too one show while in town.

I would probably rather see Absinthe again. Both were great but very different. Absinthe is very crude, immature, adult humor. Be ok with all angles of comedy or you probably won't enjoy it as much.

Agree with this assessment. Different strokes for different folks and def have seen people get offended by the off center humor in Absinthe. Safer bet is MJ One, but Absinthe if you want something different.

I know we're in the minority but we both thought MJ was a horrible show and we're a big fan of his music.

I've seen both shows, MJ twice. MJ was one of the best shows I've ever seen in Vegas, definitely IMO the best Cirque show.

I really enjoyed the MJ show but it's definitely more choreography versus acrobatics than the other cirque shows. My wife preferred the Love show.
