Haven't been there during X-Mas before, but most of the shows that my wife and I wanted to see are going to be going on. From what I have read on this board and other places, it is slower in Vegas, but still pretty active. As you get closer to New Year's eve it'll get busier.

As for Southeast, haven't flown them yet, but at the time I was booking back in August they had the best rates ($99 each way) for a round trip non-stop flight. From what I've read in the dispatch and other places, people haven't really complained about them. I would have flown Southwest but they were twice as expensive at the time.

I've been there twice before at Xmas-time. We'll be there this year from Dec 14th - 19th. It is relatively slow, but there have always still been plenty of people and action. Some of the shows are dark that time of year.

Funny thing is that although they try to decorate for Xmas, the Xmas lights and decorations are lost in the overwhelming glitz and glitter of Sin City. I find the mixture of Xmas and Vegas to be a bizarre spectacle (like Vegas doesn't have enough bizarre spectacles already!)

I'll be there December 14-19 also! I've been to LV during that week two other times. Yep, things are a little slower but there's still plenty to do and there are practically no lines anywhere!

My favorite LV/Xmas decor was at the Flamingo - a Santa with a sleigh being pulled by a team of flamingoes! It was pretty funny!

I'm always up for a meet! I'm going to one from another LV board on that Monday afternoon; other than that I'm free.

We're staying first two night at 4Queens (unless something else way better comes up; 4Q is part of our package), and the last two nights at the Orleans (free nights!). And we'll have a car.

I do want to try to see a few shows this trip but nothing is booked for a firm date and time yet. I'll more than likely have a bus pass this trip,
(I like being able to have a few drinks and not having to drive or pay for a taxi), so I can get to anywhere on the strip or downtown, and just about anywhere off strip. So right now a meet any place or time from evening of december 13th to morning of the 20th works for me. [IMG]
